Vermont Nature Trail- Deep in the mountainous bosom of St.Vincent lays hikers’ paradise, the cloud 9 for nature and animal enthusiasts, St. Vincent’s eco-tourist hotspot; the Vermont Nature Trail. The 2 mile trek through the lush woodlands of Vermont is a riveting experience as you will encounter many species of animals and plants including the St.Vincent parrot, our national bird, Amazona Guildingii and Whistling Warbler, both unique to St Vincent and strictly protected. With many look-out points, where one can behold the wonders of nature, clean bathroom facilities and a gift shop where one can purchase souvenirs, a visit to this site is sure to be a memorable one. Facilites also includes parking
and information/welcome booth.The other stops on this tour are as follows: Fort Charlotte, Table Rock and Buccama Beach.

Fraser Taxi & Tours
Hike a 3km trail that is 90% covered by a canopy of tree. Listen for and observe the parrot, our national bird in it's natural habitat. Learn the names and usefulness of many plant species. Look for and identify animal species by their tracks and sign.

5.00Did the Vermont Nature trail and had a great time. Pickup was punctual. Fraser is a safe driver and very knowledgeable about rainforest flora and fauna. He took his time and pointed out all the types of plants and trees. We were lucky enough to both hear and see a flock on parrots fly overhead with bright yellow streaks. Will be a treasured memory. The hike itself is muddy and steep in places, but I would not call it difficult.

5.00We booked the rainforest tour Vermont Nature Trail with Fraser's taxi and tours and were absolutely right. At the meeting point, the boss personally awaited us with Fraser to take our group on an exciting trip on a nature trail with lots of information. At every corner he had interesting information about plants and their use and answered the questions of the participants with a lot of background knowledge. Some funny anecdotes were also included, so we could learn a lot about the island, the people and nature. After the Nature Trail we went down to a beach as you imagine it on the postcards. Few people, white sand, wonderful water and nice bars in the background, some music and good mood. We tried his favourite bar with great views of the beach on the recommendation of Mr Fraser. With a few cocktails and a few local specialties, we enjoyed ourselves. The time was enough for both the snack and the beach. After a final Frasers special rum punch we went back to the starting point. All in all a successful tour with Mr Fraser, who gave us a wonderful day.

5.00Fraser will make your experience the highlight of your visit to the island. He is reasonably priced, (nearly half the cost of Sandals), clean vehicles with snacks, waters & Beer. He knows his topography, plants, wild life (parrots), had hiking sticks, & rain gear for us when it rained. He paced our hike to our age and ability. We made it to the top of the mountain and saw parrots flying against the jungle mist. He listens well and made excellent observations about the jungle and how the Vinceys' manage this resource and it's impact on the island. The drive from Sandals took nearly an hour then we hiked for another 3 or so both up and back to the vehicle. Fraser made this hike an exceptional one and we've hiked all sorts of trails. This rain forest trail wouldn't have been the same without Fraser!

5.00A great trail in the rainforest of St. Vincent! Fraser was patient, interesting, thought-provoking, and eager for all of us to see the native birds. Even though we were running very late (due to circumstances beyond his control), Fraser didn't leave out any of the locations we were to see, and extended the tour so we could enjoy the island. The trail WAS strenuous, which wasn't in any of the descriptions, so you might want to do something else if you're not in proper shape for an up-and-down hike, often in the mud. But HUGE fun.
Fraser Taxi cancelled our tour the same day. Another taxi company came to warn us!

5.00Fraser was a very good guide. He could not do enough for us. He was very knowledgeable about the fauna, trees and the animals on the trail. He was very friendly, amusing and a safe driver and he knew a lot about St Vincent. I would definitely recommend Fraser and take another of his tours.

5.00Frasure took me on a guided hike up to the summit of La Soufriere volcano. Such a memorable trip. The knowledge he has of the area is top notch. The trip was phenomenal. His prices so are fair compared to the resorts. I 100% recommend.

5.00A fantastic trip in a comfortable minivan, 2 hours through the rainforest with lots of explanations from the boss himself. We were in a small group and even our lazy children loved the tour on the trail. 😉Afterwards we had a refreshment and a cool down on the beach, a great day! 👍🏻

5.00Hiking through the rainforest and learning about all the plantlife. We were only able to get a fleeting view of a parrot, but still worth it. Frasier was very informative and was a fantastic hiking guide. We felt we really got an appreciation for St. Vincent. Comfortable taxi and excellent beer and rum punch.
