12/10 for this tour from Mauro who is a local to Verona and a seasoned tour guide. The elements of the tour were incredibly thoughtful and well laid out. He had anecdotes and historic perspective to provide along every turn. Even when we doubled back on the second half of the tour, the content discussed was fresh and different. We learned about architecture, history, local spots to visit, and the food and wine offered by the gorgeous city. Mauro set the bar incredibly high for any future tours I may attend. Thanks for showing us your beautiful city with such care and attention to detail! We loved it and WILL be back again.

You may wish to bring a sandwich with you, and water. The coliseum is the only washroom break, which is the beginning of the 3.5 hr tour. However, this was the best tour we’ve been on. Our tour guide was so very knowledgeable about the history of Verona. She absolutely loves her job, loves her city, and is so very passionate of Verona. You feel the love she has in her narration. Was a wonderful and very explanatory tour. We learned so much about the history of Verona. So much to see and experience, and this tour covered a lot of it. Absolutely recommend it!

The tour was well organized and Mauro was very knowledgeable. He was very accommodating when some participants wanted to wait in restaurants to avoid walking through the rain and made sure to find them again when the tour resumed. Overall, despite the fairly heavy rain (which was outside of anyone’s control), it was a wonderful tour.
