Palace of Versailles

After pickup from your chosen meeting point in Paris, the day starts with a short 45-minute journey to the spectacular Palace of Versailles. Enter with your personal guide and begin your visit, exploring the State Apartments of Louis XIV and the breathtaking Hall of Mirrors, and the beautiful gardens decorated with 55 fountains.

Giverny

After your visit of Versailles your expert guide will drive you to Giverny through the picturesque landscapes of the French countryside that inspired one of the world’s great Impressionist painters. Enjoy the comforts of your luxury transportation as you peer out your window to see the lush green hills dotted with small farms. It's easy to see what inspired artists like Monet. After an hour-long drive, you'll arrive in Giverny and enjoy a break for lunch at your own expense before heading into Fondation Claude Monet (also known as his house and gardens).

Our guide Lucile was exceptional. She was very knowledgable, warm and friendly, and took great care of our group. She readily adjusted to our group’s needs and answered any questions we had. She showed great care and made sure that we were comfortable all throughout the tour. Would highly recommend this tour as well because of the itinerary — Giverny and Versailles are beautiful and must-visit places.

Enjoyed a fantastic day with Chris exploring Giverny and Versailles. Chris was an amazing guide and driver for the day. Chris was informative and very accommodating, everything about the day was lovely. Chris knew every answer to any question and was a joy to spend the day with, it was like hanging out with a close friend. We are so happy we have chosen this excursion. It is worth the added expense to have a fully private experience.

From the moment Andre picked us up at our hotel we knew it was going an amazing day! Two of my bucket list items - seeing the palace at Versailles and visiting Claude Monet‘s home at Giverny - had been on my must-do list since my first trip to Paris. Both locations were spectacular as was seeing the countryside outside of Paris via Mercedes van, which could take small village roads that the big buses can’t. Andre is the truly a master guide - he knows everyone and everything historical about the locations. We feel so well educated and treated like royalty during our private trip. I would highly recommend this trip and Andre as the guide.

Our driver and guide was Lucile and she was simply exceptional. A very safe and comfortable ride for our group of 6 in July of 2025. Lucile was extremely charismatic and incredibly knowledgable. She truly loves sharing French History and is shows. The entire trip was filled with knowledge about Monet and Versailles, but Lucile made the trip worthwhile with a lot of local knowledge as well. This made the trip to and from quite enjoyable. Her love and respect for the sites and gardens shined through out the tour. She even was well aware of the typical day at the site and adjusted our itinerary easily so as the avoid the dense crowds whenever able, but did not skip anything. She was also very adept at making sure to provide some superb photo opportunities at both sites. This company was great to work with, and the guide they provided us with was highly knowledgeable, wonderfully attentive, and exceptionally professional. We would make every attempt to book this tour again, and would seek to book other tours with this company with absolute certainty. Having booked online tours throughout the world, this experience was an unforgettable memory that became a highlight of our trip.
