Great day with our guide Joe (Joris) a national treasure, almost as precious as Versailles. Loved the combination; local life at the markets, rich history, activity, and stunning parks and gardens. But what truly made the day was the delightful Joris, attentive, funny, factual. Like an outing with an old friend that you had never met before. 10/10

This was a great trip! Our guide Irving was wonderful. We loved the history and insight and also loved getting lots of personal time to explore the sights in between biking from place to place. This was a wonderful way to see the whole grounds. Highly recommend. And our kids loved it too.

This tour was the highlight our visit to Paris! Our guide, Joris Cordell, was incredibly kind, charismatic, and knowledgeable, and he taught us so much about history, life at Versailles, and the lesser-known parts of of Marie Antoinette's story! It was so beautiful cycling around the park at Versailles, and stopping at the market to get supplies for for our picnic lunch of fresh fruit, cheese, and bread was another highlight. We learned so much, and we highly recommend this tour and Joris- don't miss it!

I chose this tour specifically because my main interest was visiting the Grand Trianon, Petit Trianon, and Marie Antoinette's Hameau, having already toured the main palace many years ago. Exploring the expansive grounds of Versailles by bike proved to be both practical and enjoyable. The directions to the meeting point were clear and easy to follow. Our tour took place on a public holiday, and unfortunately the train from Gare Saint-Lazare was not operating that day. We adjusted our plans by taking the metro to Gare Montparnasse and catching a train from there without too much difficulty. Once we arrived in Versailles, our guide, Guigui, led us to a wonderful local market where we picked up food and supplies for our picnic lunch. After collecting our bikes, we set off through the town and into the palace grounds. Throughout the day, Guigui shared fascinating historical facts and insights that brought the sites to life. He did an excellent job of reading the group's energy and pacing the tour accordingly, ensuring that everyone had an enjoyable experience. At the end of the tour, he provided detailed instructions for returning to Paris, which was greatly appreciated. Several people in our group later commented that he was the best guide they had encountered during their time in Paris. I'm very glad I booked this excursion with Blue Fox and would happily recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable way to experience the grounds of Versailles.

Despite the heat, our guide Aaron made this the best experience!!! He was extremely knowledgeable but fun and engaging especially for our kids (ages 14 and 10) I loved the bike ride through the gardens and visiting the farmers market. I wish I had brought a small cooler-the bikes have plenty of room and it would have been awesome to have very cold wine or drinks with our picnic. Bring plenty of water-we had an umbrella for sun protection waiting to get into the palace which was huge.
