Discover the true beauty of Versailles on this full-day tour from Paris. Meet up at a train station in Paris and board the train to Versailles with your guide. You'll visit an award-winning French Farmers Market with fabulous food stalls. Leisurely cycle around the gorgeous 2,000 acres Royal Domaine of Versailles to see swaying wheat fields and lush green forests. Enjoy a picnic on the soft grass as you look out over a lake with swans in it. Visit two smaller chateaux called the Grand and Petit Trianon. Pet a sheep while you explore Queen Marie-Antoinette's adorable Private Farm village with thatched roof buildings. All Tour participants over the age of 9 years old MUST know how to ride a bike solo.
Children aged 6 months to 4 years old can sit in a child seat on their parents bikes. Infant seats are available if advised at time of booking.
Children aged 5 to 9 years old can: cycle solo, if capable, or on a tandem attachment bike.
Not recommended for travelers who weigh more than 270 pounds or 122 kilos.

What To Expect
Palace of Versailles
Once the royal Palace of France's most famous Kings, the Chateau of Versailles is simply outstanding. We'll make a timed entrance reservation for you and you'll be able to stay inside of the palace for as long as you want at the end of the bike tour.
Place Du Marche Notre Dame
Opened in the time of King Louis 14th, the Versailles Farmers Market is outstanding! Your guide will give you a market tour to get you familiar with where all the best foods can be found. Then you will have 30 minutes of free time to roam the brimming food stalls and pick up whatever you want to eat for the picnic that will happen later in the day.

5.00This was easily our favorite tour of our entire Europe trip! Our guide, Gigi, was fantastic! He was so fun, helpful, and made all the history really easy to understand and engaging. The itinerary was perfect: we cycled around the stunning grounds, enjoyed a beautiful picnic, and ended the day at the Palace itself. It was the perfect day from start to finish. If you’re visiting Versailles, this is a must do!

5.00We had a fantastic day visiting Versailles with Michael. We prefer nature to the crowds so the tour was perfect for us. We appreciated Michael navigating the metro for us when the train to Versailles was cancelled. The picnic at the end of the grounds was perfect, and we enjoyed exploring the hamlet and the market. Our height varied from 5’4” to 6’5” and the bikes worked for all of us. We liked giving our feet a break on the bikes. I would highly recommend.

5.00Thibault is the Guide Extraordinaire! He provided us a safe fun memorable experience. And mother nature provided us a beautiful day! It was easy to find the meetup point. We received many notifications of how to find it prior to our Versailles bike tour. After arriving in the city we walked and experienced some of the tastes of the market and were given some time to acquire our lunches. We then got our blue bikes and storage for our lunches. We biked safely through a couple small city streets and then open space around the lake feature of Versailles. Thibault kept a great pace with many stops to catch our breath (and allow the kids to expel some of their energy). We loved Louis XIV and his 'sexy legs' and all the history explained in an entertaining manner. Lunch was along the lake, bathrooms nearby. Time to explore the 'homes and gardens' was just right before going to the next amazing spot. Bikes were returned using the same route, we were then let loose at Versailles Palace to explore on our own. A ticket was provided to take the train back on our own. Everything was perfect, memories were made... muscles were exercised that I didnt know exist ;)

5.00This was my friends and I’s favorite experience during our trip to France. Very clear and easy instructions, everything included, including your transportation, and your tickets to the palace! You get a full tour of Versailles and you get to shop around the farmers market and then take the food to have a picnic later on the palace grounds. Our tour guide Arnaud was so knowledgeable, so much fun, and made the tour very entertaining, we learned so much! I would highly recommend this to anybody going to visit Paris.
