I felt the tour was great! It allowed enough time for us to learn as a group but then explore each area at our own pace!

We had a great time in Versailles. Michael was very knowledgeable and had fun stories about the palace’s history. The bikes are very comfortable and the ride is long but with plenty of stops along the way. The marché Michael took us to buy food for the picnic is wonderful. We highly recommend this tour. Our kids 17 and 14 also enjoyed it very much.

What an enjoyable day! Aaron, our tour guide, lead us through the Versailles palace grounds/parks on bikes. He had a good number of stops, with interesting commentary about the history. The ride through the trees and around the water was very tranquil and nice to get out of the hectic crowds at the palace. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone looking to see the palace.

If you're considering a bike tour of the Palace of Versailles and its expansive grounds, stop thinking and just go for it. This tour was hands-down one of the best travel experiences I’ve had in France — and a big reason why was our outstanding guide. From the very beginning, the experience was seamless. We met near the train station in Paris, got our bikes, and were whisked off to the picturesque town of Versailles. But this wasn’t just any tourist loop — we covered ground and got depth. The biking itself was relaxed and scenic, taking us through lush tree-lined paths, quiet lakeside views, and the grand avenues that sprawl across the palace’s massive estate. Highlights included: The Grand Canal – We rode alongside it, stopped for photos, and even had a peaceful picnic lunch with the palace glimmering in the distance. The Queen’s Hamlet – Like stepping into a fairytale. This hidden gem, Marie Antoinette’s rustic retreat, felt like a secret garden tucked away from the formality of the palace. The Grand and Petit Trianon – We explored both, learning about their royal history without the dry textbook feel. And of course, the main Château itself – After the biking portion, we had timed entry into the palace to explore the Hall of Mirrors and opulent royal apartments. What really made this tour shine, though, was our guide. Equal parts historian and storyteller he brought the history of Versailles to life with energy and insight. He made the complex history of the French monarchy not only digestible but wildly entertaining. Think witty anecdotes, quirky facts you won’t find in guidebooks, and a clear passion for the place and its stories. If you want to truly experience Versailles — not just shuffle through it — this bike tour is the way to do it. Active, immersive, and unforgettable. 10/10 – Highly recommended.
