All Tour participants over the age of 9 years old MUST know how to ride a bike solo.
Children aged 6 months to 4 years old can sit in a child seat on their parents bikes. Infant seats are available if advised at time of booking.
Children aged 5 to 9 years old can: cycle solo, if capable, or on a tandem attachment bike.
Not recommended for travelers who weigh more than 270 pounds or 122 kilos.

What To Expect
Palace of Versailles
Once the royal Palace of France's most famous Kings, the Chateau of Versailles is simply outstanding. We'll make a timed entrance reservation for you and you'll be able to stay inside of the palace for as long as you want at the end of the bike tour.
Place Du Marche Notre Dame
Opened in the time of King Louis 14th, the Versailles Farmers Market is outstanding! Your guide will give you a market tour to get you familiar with where all the best foods can be found. Then you will have 30 minutes of free time to roam the brimming food stalls and pick up whatever you want to eat for the picnic that will happen later in the day.

5.00So, we started the walk PONTUALLEMENT even having the absence of a couple. Meeting in front of the Starbuck Café. Take a walk to the train station. Arriving at Versailles another easy walk to the depot where the bikes are. We picked up the bikes and went out pedaling through the city to the entrance of the Palace Park. Our guide, Arnauld was spectacular. French knowledgeable of history and with a lot of humor. A negative point is that the guides do not enter any of the palaces, but we already knew that when we made the reservation. The explanations made by Arnauld were fundamental to understanding a bit of what we would see inside the palaces. Finished the bike tour, we returned to the depot and there we went, already without the guide to know the interior of the incredible Palace of Versailles, indescribable!!!!!! At the end, easy walk to the train station and back to Paris tired and happy! Mercy Arnauld for the day and the experience!!!

5.00Thibault was fantastic! He is a walking encyclopedia of French history and just a friendly and warm person. The bike tour was smooth and we got to learn so much about Versaille than we would have otherwise. Highly recommend!
So fun. Can’t wait to go back! So glad I booked this bike tour , it was the highlight of the trip .

5.00I went in the winter solo. The bike tour was really great. Everything is included, including the train tickets and tickets into Versailles. We also got a map of the area as well. The meeting spot will be at the train station. Versailles is the last stop. Arnaud, our tour guide, in particular, was very good. He was very nice, very informative and very patient. The tour is also very family friendly. Our group had a mother and her three daughters. Arnaud helped them get onto the bicycles and helped troubleshoot any problems along the way. We went to the food market at Vesaille, then the park, and saw the Petit and Grand Trianons and the Hamlet. The hamlet has ponies, pigs, goats, and chickens. After that, Arnaud dropped us off at the Palace for us to see on our own. We also went to a nice restaurant in the park in Versailles. I think it was La Flottille. The food there was quite good. The bikes definitely helped because the park itself is huge. Be warned though, it can be a long day. By the time, the tour was over, I was getting a little tired. Also, if you go in the winter, the weather isn't as great and the sun sets earlier. The bikes are all manual. There are bike attachments for children. The bikes are kept in storage in town so it can be a little tricky to bike from the town to the park itself. You will be biking through traffic. Once you get the park, it's much easier.

5.00We had a fabulous day out with Arnauld our amazing guide, with a perfect blend of learning a bit of French history (which made viewing the palace and palace grounds even more interesting) and physical activity cycling through the grounds. The pace was not too fast with lots of rests in between, so I was not overly tired despite the long day. We were extremely lucky to experience Versailles in the snow, and it sure was a memorable day. Thank you Arnaud, a truly must-do activity if you are in Paris!!!

5.00Touring the grounds on bike is convenient to be able to visit the mansions and parks outside of the main palace. Our tour guide Arnauld was excellent.
