5.00Bo was an excellent guide. The tour in the palace was a little over an hour. He had access to the gardens too and Trianon. We could have spent the entire day here! The Trianon is a 40 minute walk from the palace to give you a reference of the size of this property! Wear your most comfortable walking shoes! The entrance is cobble stone and not even.

3.00A impressive place to be sure but - Way overbooked - it was absolutely packed to the point that it was difficult to really see anything. Many of the rooms in the royal apartments had confusing and mismatched signage. This was overall far less than expected for the price - take a lesson from others like the Schoenbrunn Palace….this is not well done.

5.00This guided tour was fascinating. Our guide was very good and knowledgeable about pieces in the palace and rooms in the palace and encouraged questions. He also gave us good tips on how to access the gardens and get to the Queens hamlet. I also recommend getting to the tour early and exploring the town of Versailles. It is absolutely beautiful and the King stables are across the street from the palace and that was very interesting as well to see all of the coaches.
