This tour, which takes place outdoors, will take you through different periods, from the Middle Ages to the 19th century.
Accompanied by a flesh-and-blood guide, you will walk through the square courtyard, Napoleon III courtyard and the Tuileries Garden.
Equipped with a virtual reality headset, you will discover the medieval fortress that was the Louvre in its early days, you will be immersed in the atmosphere of the district that was installed at the foot of the Louvre in the Renaissance, and you will even witness a significant event of the French Revolution.
Century after century, you will see the Louvre and its neighborhood transformed, the Palais des Tuileries appear, history unfold before your eyes.
Mixing real and virtual, this tour will offer you a return to the present time to allow you to situate yourself in space and compare the buildings present today with those that have disappeared.

What To Expect
Louvre Museum
You will begin your immersion in the square Courtyard of the Louvre before heading to the Napoleon III Court where the Pyramid is located.
Arc de Triomphe du Carrousel
You will finish the tour at the entrance to the Jardin des Tuileries, marked by the Arc de Triomphe du Carrousel.

5.00Really cool experience. The guide still held the tour even though it was snowing heavily which we appreciated. The tech really lends itself well to being at the same exact spots as the scenes the VR shows you. Would definitely recommend and especially for kids and those who’d like a break from walking tours. It was nice to sit and take it in. The VR really made the history of the Louvre come to life in a way you don’t get to see otherwise.

5.00Whether in front of the Eiffel Tower or at the Louvre, we all loved these 2 virtual reality tours offered by Viality Tour! They did an incredible documentary search to create beautiful historical settings as close as possible to reality. We are really well immersed in the Mood and the stages of construction of the Eiffel Tower or the Louvre. Must see! It is hoped that they will create more such visits.

Going back through history and being teleported back in time is an incredible experience that we recommend to history buffs and people who want to discover the history of this monument... Immersion again allows you to follow the evolution of the buildings to the present Palace for 10 centuries and to live the tragic hours summarized in one line in our history books.
