Honestly what an amazing trip! Had a blast with Cory and all the new friends I made along the way. Very informative. The views were so stunning! I wasn't expecting to see the snow and we did. Paradise was so snowy and so so beautiful. If you didn't have the proper snow shoes, he had snow shoes or grippers you could use. We made stops to take photos along the way and we even got to see the oldest tree. I would recommend this tour 100%. I would do again in a heartbeat if I am ever back in Seattle.

Such an amazing experience! Lucus was so knowledgeable and great driver. Using the provided snow shoes and ice shoes made the excursion possible. Winter tour is the best tour!

My experience was amazing from beginning to end. Lucas, our tour guide, was outstanding—knowledgeable, engaging, and deeply passionate about the region. He made the day both educational and thoroughly enjoyable. His personal stories added a meaningful touch and kept the entire group engaged throughout the tour. As a first-time visitor to Seattle, I had no idea how breathtaking the area truly is. The drive to Mount Rainier was spectacular, made even more memorable by clear blue skies and excellent visibility. Lucas thoughtfully stopped at a church in Eatonville, where we were able to admire Mount Rainier in all its splendor—an unforgettable view. I was especially appreciative of Lucas’s recommendation to stop at Fred Meyer to pick up extra clothing, lunch, and drinks as needed. His advice was incredibly helpful, as I was able to purchase warm essentials for the winter conditions—including a scarf, gloves, extra socks, and a vest. The store offered excellent quality at very reasonable prices, with many items discounted between 30–50%. I was truly grateful for his thoughtful guidance. On our drive to Mount Rainier, we also stopped at a Ukrainian restaurant for hot coffee and pastries, which was a welcome treat on a chilly day. A third stop in Packwood allowed us to take in the glacier area before finally arriving in the charming town of Paradise. Lucas provided snowshoes and hiking poles for everyone who needed them, ensuring we were well prepared for the conditions. I had the pleasure of hiking alongside another guest, Ragu, who was visiting from India. Together, we completed a beautiful two-mile hike surrounded by breathtaking scenery. Although I am originally from Colombia and have lived in California for many years, I had never hiked in the snow before. This experience was both memorable and incredibly enjoyable for me. Standing before Mount Rainier at 14,410 feet was truly awe-inspiring—an unforgettable moment. When it suddenly began to snow, Ragu and I decided to turn back. The landscape transformed instantly, yet its beauty remained just as striking. On our return, we stopped at Narada Falls, where it was remarkable to see the waterfall still flowing, framed by snow-covered surroundings. The sight was stunning. Our final stop was at a small store in Elbe, where we could enjoy coffee or hot spiced cider and browse for souvenirs. Since I was the first guest picked up that morning, I was also the first to be dropped off at my hotel. I ended the day filled with gratitude—for Lucas’s care and professionalism, and for the extraordinary natural beauty we experienced throughout the journey. I highly recommend this tour; it was absolutely worthwhile.

The day started with a 7:40am picked up right beside my hotel. We made two stops on the way to the park for snacks and drinks. We stopped to take pictures at Alder Lake. We entered the park by taking a short walk along the river. The scenery was beautiful. We walked twin firs trail. We saw some massive trees and I really enjoyed it. Next we went to Longmire. Due to weather this was as far into the park as we could go that day. At Longmire I walked the trail of the shadows. It gave a lot of history about the area and also had nice scenery. We did get to see Mount Rainier from Longmire and get some pictures. On our way out of the park we stopped to get some pictures of the sign, some pictures of elk, and made a snack/drink stop. Overall I really enjoyed the day. My favorites were the first short walk we did by the river and also twin firs trail. Our guide Cory definitely made the experience better with his facts and stories about the area. He was also really personable and made everyone feel welcome. I think I would like to visit again during a warmer season because I only got to see a few points of interest this trip.

Wonderful! We went in February so it was snowing that day. I recommend wearing hiking shoes or shoes with grip. The short trek down to the waterfalls had ice and snow. Christine Falls was too icy for my tennis shoes. Narada Falls, we were given snow shoes so that was fine. I missed out because I wasn't prepared. Mark was engaging, informative and fun. Our group was great also, very punctual at departure times which meant we were able to cover more ground. This is a very good tour operation!

Longmire pass might be the only access point to Mt. Rainier open during weekdays during the winter. Plan for a trip between Thursday and Sunday to guarantee access to other places within the park.

Our experience was wonderful with Lucas! He was very knowledgeable and friendly. We are from Chicago and this was our first time in the Seattle area. He helped us see all the best parts of Mt. Rainier!

It was a wonderful experience. We were very lucky with the weather - it was clear and sunny both in Seattle and at the park, with no rain at all. This allowed us to see the summit of Mt. Rainier clearly from different viewpoints, which made the trip even more special. Although some areas of the park were closed during the winter season, it was still absolutely worth spending time walking the trails. Being surrounded by the old-growth forest and breathing in the fresh mountain air was a truly immersive experience. The natural beauty of the park left a deep impression on me. Our tour guide, James, was very warm, thoughtful, and responsible. He actively helped answer questions and solve any issues we encountered, always with great patience. He clearly enjoys reading and learning, and he shared interesting knowledge from books with us throughout the trip. He even prepared books related to the tour for us to read on the bus, which helped us better understand the park and made the journey more meaningful. Overall, it was a memorable and enjoyable tour. I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Seattle.
