Enjoy a delightful tour of South Australia’s premier tourist region, the Fleurieu Peninsula. Travel through the picturesque Adelaide Hills to the historical Scottish settlement of Strathalbyn. Continue on to the paddle steamer town of Goolwa, where you will have a brief tour of the town, including the wharf, barrage, and beach.

On your way to Victor Harbor, cruise past the charming coastal town of Port Elliot, Middleton. Victor Harbor, South Australia’s most popular seaside village, you'll have free time to wander the main street, walk on the Causeway to Granite Island, or stroll along the beach.

From here, sit back and relax while you view the stunning coast of Encounter Bay and Rosetta Head. Look out for The Bluff, which overlooks the township of Victor Harbor. Before returning to Adelaide, see some of the stunning southern metropolitan beaches of Port Noarlunga and Glenelg.

What To Expect

From your pickup at your hotel or b&b we will take a casual scenic drive through the picturesque Adelaide Hills as we make our way to the Scottish town of Strathalbyn which will be our first stop of the day. Here you'll be able to take a stroll or stop for coffee before we head off to the Murray Mouth.

We had an amazing day out with our driver Roy, from CP Tours. The trip covered plenty of the Fleurieu Peninsula’s highlights. Enough time was given at each stop for photo ops, browsing local shops and general sightseeing. Roy was informative about the areas we were travelling to, and an encyclopaedic wealth of knowledge - which made for a fun trip. We would highly recommend this trip to any visitors to Adelaide. Highly recommend this trip. Phil, driver/ guide, is very friendly, cheerful and informative. Phil designed the route carefully. He lead us through a few scenic heritage towns, with historic and current stories. Lots of fun. I traveled with my elderly parents both 82yo. Phil looked after them and helped them in details. My parents had a lovely day out. Very happy. Thank you Phil.

Phil was very experienced had lots of knowledge and bantered with his tour guests. Bus was comfortable with adequate stops. Phil moved quests around seats so you weren’t stuck in the back the whole trip. A very enjoyable tour I would highly recommend. Thanks Terry

Great day. Phil informative and accommodating taking side trips and visiting attractions along the way. Phil, the driver and tour director advised on places to eat and things to see and do. I would recommend the tour to others, small numbers and relaxed tour even though full day outing.

This was a beautiful drive. Definitely recommend the walk out to Granite Island & the very easy walk around the island. The stop at Strathalbyn was pretty but nothing special. I recommend this tour for solo travelers or groups.

I joined a few tours from Perth to Adelaide, Brisbane, and Sydney, and the one with Phil to Victor Harbor has been the best so far. He really went the extra mile — showing us winery and Glenelg even though they weren’t part of the itinerary. Phil shared great stories, gave helpful advice, and made everyone feel included. Some of us didn’t go back to town with the group, he took some time to advise us where to go and checked in with me the next day to make sure I was okay. Thank you, Phil — I’d definitely love to join another tour with you again!
