The Victoria Falls Bridge was built in 1905 using revolutionary engineering methods. The Historic Bridge Tour is a journey through 100 years of Victorian engineering to the heart of Cecil John Rhodes’ vision of a Cape to Cairo railway. The Tour includes a light hearted but informative talk on the history of the bridge, magnificent views of the rapids, rainbows and majesty of the Victoria Falls and Batoka Gorges on the walkways actually underneath the bridge and an opportunity to see a bungee jump up close. Very well done. Some acting and lots of interesting facts. Walked under the bridge (catwalk)while being tethered with a safety line so only danger might be bumping your head as you'll be dodging under the beams which you have to be agile enough to do. Walk from Zambia to Zimbabwe. Couple of short ladders but under the shade of the bridge which made it quite comfortable. Fantastic views and you might be lucky enough to be there when there's a bungee jumper. Saw a couple of colourful birds from above which I hadn't noticed before. Great experience!

What a truly unforgettable experience! Our guide on the historic bridge tour of the Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe was not only knowledgeable, but also incredibly engaging, making the tour both educational and entertaining. The breathtaking views from the bridge were nothing short of spectacular, allowing us to fully grasp the immense height and power of the falls. However, for those with a fear of heights, this tour may be a bit challenging, as the perspective from the under carriage of the bridge can be quite dizzying. Despite this, the tour ensures the safety of its participants by providing harnesses and railings on both sides. Overall, this thrilling adventure is a must-do for any history or nature enthusiast seeking an adrenaline rush and a close encounter with one of the world's most awe-inspiring natural wonders.

Innovative use of industrial theatre and role play to narrate the history of the bridge and the building thereof. Very friendly and helpful staff members.

My wife and I had a fun experience on this tour. It begins with a humorous theatrical explanation of the bridge construction and then moves on to a harnessed trip on the maintenance gantry below the bridge surface. Once you reach the Zimbabwe side of the bridge, you travel back over the top of the bridge on the footpath (right by the bungee jump) and back to Zambia. We highly recommend this trip!

This was a fun experience. The guide, George, was EXCELLENT. He narrated the history of how the bridge was built. He was funny and extremely knowledgeable. We went under the bridge where we were above the river, able to see the falls and experience the details of the bridge. A nice way to spend a few hours.

In all that there is to do around Vic Falls you might easily to miss this unique experience. Don't - unless you're seriously bothered by heights! In an amusing, highly informative and very engaging presentation we were given an unusual angle on the Falls. We learnt about the Victorian engineering pioneers who made this key link in the proposed Cape to Cairo Railway possible and we appreciated, at first hand, the skills and the bravery involved in delivering it. An absolutely unforgettable visit amongst all the excitement offered by one of the world's greatest natural wonders.
