Having taken several whale watching trips in boats, outriggers, sail ships, zodiac, and catamarans in HI, Belize, Australia and other places I would rate this one of the best experiences. Orcas, lunge feeding group of whales, dolphins, three different type of seals, several marine birds, and great narration. Humpback whales (as many as 8) were as close as 50 feet (or less) as they came to the boat and one went under our boat. Captain Jeff, Tom, Val, and Hannah—shout to you and crew. Great job.

The 4 EVER WILD boat was perfect for outside viewing and inside warmth. 😉. Our crew was very knowledgeable and helpful. Sierra, Joanne, Carol, Keaton, Hana and Captain Evan did a fantastic job. The whole experience was top notch from start to finish. I highly recommend and will book this again in the future.

Informative. Guide was resourceful. We came back exactly after 4 hours even though we were watching whales. Wished we could spend some more time with those whales.

We had such an incredible experience with Eagle Wing Whale & Wildlife Tours that we ended up booking a second tour during our trip! On our Sunday morning tour, we were lucky enough to see humpback whales, orcas, sea lions, and seals. The wildlife sightings alone would have made the trip worthwhile, but what really stood out was the crew. The whole team was friendly, professional, and extremely knowledgeable. They were always happy to answer questions and share information about the animals and local area, which made the experience even more enjoyable. We enjoyed the first tour so much that we booked another trip for yesterday afternoon. Once again, the crew were fantastic and took us south of the island this time, where we had the incredible privilege of watching around ten humpback whales feeding. We were able to observe them for what felt like forever, and it was truly one of the most memorable wildlife experiences we've ever had. The combination of amazing wildlife encounters, knowledgeable guides, and a genuinely welcoming crew made both tours exceptional. I would highly recommend Eagle Wing Whale & Wildlife Tours to anyone visiting Vancouver Island. You won't be disappointed!

Outstanding adventure! The company does an outstanding job and provides you with everything you would need. Warmer clothes to head out to the waters? Binoculars? Marine experts? Safety training to let you know that you’re in good hands? All of that…and even more. Our trip was a very fortunate one - we saw orcas, sea lions, pelicans, and humpback whales.

We visited Victoria, BC during a cruise stop and hadn't planned any excursions ahead of time. After getting off the ship as early as possible, we started walking around the harbor area and came across Eagle Wing Whale & Wildlife Watching Tours. We were able to make a reservation for their 1:00 PM tour and spent the morning exploring Victoria before returning at 12:30 PM for check-in. From the moment we arrived, the staff was organized, friendly, and professional. For the open boat tour, they provided everyone with flotation coats and waterproof pants, which made a huge difference out on the water. They also had hats, gloves, blankets, and binoculars available for guests who needed them. Our captain, Brett, did an excellent job navigating and making sure we had a great experience, while Natalie, our wildlife guide, was absolutely wonderful. She was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and took the time to walk around the boat chatting with everyone and answering questions throughout the tour. The wildlife sightings exceeded our expectations! We saw bald eagles, sea lions, Mouflon sheep, and the highlight of the day—two different families of orcas (killer whales). The crew was very informative about the wildlife, local ecosystem, and the areas we were visiting, making the experience both exciting and educational. We spent roughly 4 to 4.5 hours on the water, which felt like an excellent value. As cruise passengers, we especially appreciated how aware the team was of our ship's schedule. They carefully monitored the timing to ensure everyone made it back with plenty of time to return to the ship. The tour cost about $300 USD for two people, and it was worth every penny. Between the incredible wildlife encounters, knowledgeable crew, quality equipment provided, and excellent customer service, this ended up being one of the highlights of our Alaska cruise vacation. If you're visiting Victoria, especially on a cruise stop and are looking for an unforgettable wildlife experience, I highly recommend Eagle Wing Whale & Wildlife Watching Tours!

Spent most of our time up front where Chrystelle did an amazing job pointing out things we never would have noticed and filling in a ton of details about the species and even specific individual whales we saw when they could be identified. Answered tons of questions from the kids as well. We lucked out and saw Orca, tons of Humpback, and even some amazing breaches. This crew clearly cares and isn’t just in it for the business. On the way back, Captain Jer spotted a stray balloon in the water, and Jo and Tilly fished it out along with a playground ball that could’ve been deadly to a whale in the wrong conditions. Really impressed with the crew and our kids are still buzzing about how cool the experience was.

We had a great time on the Eagle Wing Whale and Wildlife Cruise! We saw multiple killer whales and a sea lion. The tour crew were extremely friendly and knowledgeable, sharing their insights about the whales and natural environment. We particularly enjoyed hearing about the conservation efforts. Sam was very fun and energetic. Overall, a great experience which we would highly recommend!

Wow - what a trip! Two humpbacks, 7 killer whales, countless seals and incredible guides (Capt. Evan, Carol, Laura, Ryleigh, Keaton) that offered a wealth of information, education, and customer service. After careful research, we are so glad that we chose Eagle Wing. Booking, check-in, and safety briefings were seamless. They even texted the day before to share information about traffic/parking and an event in the area. The scenery around Vancouver Island and the San Juans was breathtaking and the entire crew seemed genuinely excited to share their love of the marine ecosystem with the entire ship. Highly recommend!
