Thank you George for this beautiful and unforgettable experience. We have had the chance to meet 3 orcas, 2 whales, few sea lions and some seals. Our guide was passionate and shared his passion with us. Thank you a hundred times for those lifetime memories.

Excellent tour. Saw Orcas, Bald Eagles, Sea Lions and island with goats and deer. Saw sea planes landing as we headed back. Zodiac boat ride was great!

What a great excursion and fantastic time! Many, many whales, 2 bald eagles, Calfornia sea lions! Knowledgable, friendly and patient staff. Suits were comfortable and essential even though it was a fully sunny day. They provide warm hats and gloves. Wear 3 layers under the suit...the wind makes it very cold! Would recommend Prince of Whales anytime!

My zodiac trip with Mark as guide, was above my wildest expectations. Not only did we see three types of whale (Humpback, Grey and Orca) but we saw them with a very passionate and knowledgeable guide. I could tell that Mark and his colleague driving the boat were genuinely excited at the sightings - they took the trouble to wait near the Grey whale so that we had two more sightings before returning to shore. I was expecting a guide who gave us rote information and was not deeply informed, but Mark is a genuine whale expert and clearly loves the species deeply. He answered all our questions fully and very clearly. He is part of a research community whose work is to number/document/account for each pod of Orcas and each individual Orca, and he personally knows the identity of each Orca by features such as size of pod, dorsal fin size, markings etc. He's knowledgeable about migration patterns, hunting techniques, whale behaviour such as playing and guarding young, and so much more. We saw a mother and baby Orca: so wonderful. Mark shared that he personally saw, and was extremely moved by, the mother Orca who a few years ago was carrying her deceased calf for days on end. This was a trip I will never forget and I feel privileged to have gone out that day.

Mark is a great tour guide on the zodiac boat - shared lots of local lore and showed us some cool spots. Highly recommend asking for his boat.

It was incredible and something I've wanted to do for so long. Worth every penny! The Zodiac was an intimate experience, making me feel like I was part of it with only 9 of us on board. Gary was an absolute delight! I didn't want it to ever end.

We took our grandkids out today and by a lucky chance we got the same guide we had 5 years ago, George! He makes an already great experience and takes it to the very top level of any tour you can take. Besides the amazing things to see, George provided the amazing knowledge of the sea and the area that is so special. He made the day. The equipment is top notch and we had as good a day as it could be. Thanks a bunch to the

The Zodiac Tour was incredible! Mark Malleson always goes above and beyond, and you honestly feel like you’re a special guest on a private tour. He took us all the way out to Salt Spring Island, where we had the most serene, genuine, and peaceful moments with orcas, all done in such a respectful way. On the way back, we spotted another pod, making it a total of 7 orcas, and I already can’t wait to be back very soon!
