Please be aware that according to the manufacturer’s specification and Austrian law the following restrictions apply for Segways:
Minimum age: 12 years
Minimum height: 150 cm
Body weight: between 45 kg and 120 kg
Therefore people who fall below or exceed these limits cannot participate in Segway Tours. Exclusion from a booked tour on account of the restrictions does not qualify for a refund.
The tour is bilingual, it is conducted in English and German.

What To Expect
Meet your guide near Karlsplatz station. You'll receive a safety orientation session at the beginning to get you comfortable on your Segway. Then, it's time to explore Vienna! Glide along the Opernring to the imperial Hofburg Palace, home to the Hapsburg Dynasty of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. Glide past the Parliament building and continue through the city center, passing highlights such as St. Stephen’s Cathedral and Vienna City Hall. Get up close and personal with Vienna as you cruise along imperial streets and hidden alleys. Turn heads as you breeze by Vienna’s ornate architecture and lively streets. While visiting Vienna, this guided tour is a must! This tour combines historical information with lots of fascinating stories. Included are fantastic photo ops and superb personal service from your professional, licensed tour guide. You glide through Vienna’s historical center with its unique architecture and get a comprehensive overview of the city. All Segway tours are limited to 10 persons. This assures that you can count on a small group experience.

Admire Hofburg Palace, the Rathaus and the golden Mozart statue in Stadtpark, and ride along the narrow lanes of Vienna's old town. This day tour provides an excellent overview of Vienna's must-see sights, history and beauty. Your tour ends back at the Museum Quarter, the perfect place to continue sightseeing on your own. Evening TourWitness the city come alive on the evening Segway tour. This tour is less about checking off the sights and more about immersing yourself in the beauty of the Austrian capital as the day turns to night. Watch a sunset bathe the city in a warm golden light (depending on the time of year), and marvel at magnificent buildings, monuments and landmarks lighting up against the evening sky. Learn about the sights you see from your guide, and travel back in time 150 years to imagine how Vienna must have looked for the Habsburgs during their evening carriage rides. 5.00Our guide was Horst -- and he made this tour fantastic! I highly recommend this, great way to see alot especially if you have limited time in Vienna, which was our issue. Beautiful city and great way to get around.

5.00We loved every second of the tour. A great way to get a feel for the city in a short time. Horst was a brilliant guide and had a really extensive knowledge of the city and its history. We hadn’t been on a Segway before, but they are really easy to pick up. Horst was great at getting us up and running, and making sure we were comfortable before setting off. The pace was perfect, with a pit stop for a hot chocolate half way through.
Great tour, great Segway’s, highly recommend.

3.00This tour is great if you want to see a lot of the major buildings and architecture in the center of Vienna. It covers a lot of ground, much more than you could get in a walking tour of the same length. But don’t expect to learn a lot about the history of the city. Yes, there was some historical information given by our very friendly and outgoing tour guide, but it is not a “historical tour” per se. The orientation session at the start was excellent and we enjoyed ourselves, but would have liked more information about what we were seeing.

5.00The tour on the Segway is highly recommended. And if a guide like Horst Harrer who just “smashes out” all the old “Vienna Gschichtln” while he skilfully leads through the city, congratulations, it doesn’t get any better. ... ps: ask for the porcelain ride. ;-)

5.00Our guide (Petros?) was very good. Took a lot of time ensuring we could handle the Segways safely. He was knowledgeable of the local history and quite amusing. I think a little more help from staff at the depot to fit helmets wouldn't go amiss; we were sort of left to just get on with that ourselves. Also, our original booked date was changed two days before our booking due to staff sickness; fortunately we were able to attend at an alternative date, though not at the afternoon time (2pm) we would have preferred and had originally chosen. So an earlier time (9.30am) was rather forced upon us and meant an early rise and hurried breakfast. Overall though, the tour itself and our guide were very good.
