Some of Vienna’s most famous Christmas markets have almost become victims of their own success. On our tour, you’ll skip the tourist crowds and experience only the most authentic Viennese Christkindlmarkts. So join us (and the locals) as we savor the true flavors of Christmas in Vienna together!
From Langos and Käsekrainer, to Apple Strudel Punsch, Glühwein, Baumkuchen, & Kaiserschmarrn, Vienna’s Christmas markets are packed with traditional Austrian delicacies that will have your taste buds singing “Jingle Bells” in no time!
Our festive culinary journey will introduce you to parts of the city you might otherwise miss. From the trendy 7th district to charming palatial suburbs and back to the Innerstadt, we’ll show you our favorite local spots in Vienna. Tours are limited to a maximum of just 8 people.

What To Expect
Am Hof Christmas Market
We meet and greet close to one of the first district’s most traditional Christmas markets, right in the heart of Vienna at Am Hof. The nearest U-bahn station is either Stephansplatz or Herrengasse on the U3 orange line. Full details of how to get to the meeting point can be found below. Travel time is included in the toiur duration.
Spittelberg Christmas Market
From the first district we’ll take a very short hop onto Vienna’s legendary public transport network to our next Christmas market in the ultra hip and trendy 7th district. Wander through narrow, cobble-stoned lanes and enjoy Christmas delicacies among the locals.

Traveling around Vienna on local transportation was a plus and gave more insight into the city during the season. Highly recommend this tour if you want a wonderful Christmas market experience!

He was concerned about each of us, and gave my husband and me step by step instruction on how to return to our hotel. We were a small group and got undivided attention! 5.00My husband and I are in Vienna to celebrate the holiday season and this tour was a perfect fit for our trip. We visited four markets across Vienna over the course of four hours. James was a wonderful guide full of information and enthusiasm about the markets and the city. At each market James selected a specialty food and drink to enjoy.
