Our tour guide, Alexander was amazing! He told us great stories about Hapsburgs in a way that the past really came to life! He walked us thru all the rooms in the Palace at a very comfortable pace, pointed out and explained to us lots of interesting art and history details. He also gave us a great and very lively tour of the gardens. This was one of the best "palace" tours we have taken (and we have visited lots of palaces around the world)! Certainly recomend this one, worth every penny and some!

Alex is a lover of the arts and has a wealth of knowledge when it comes to Austrian history. The tour was eye-opening and made our visit to the palace one to remember. He is very passionate and went well over our tour time slot to ensure nothing was missed. Thank you so much for a wonderful experience!

First of all, Alex is a phenomenal story teller. He made learning about history so much fun. He is very well spoken and well educated. This has been our favorite tour just because of Alex.

First of all 5 stars to our guide Alexander. He was an amazing guide. Lots of great stories while taking the tour and always added some with the stories he told. I'm giving the 3 stars for the value. The value doesn't match up to the product. We paid $78 each and again, while Alexander was knowledgeable and humorous, you only got to see a handful of rooms filled by a quick walk around the gardens. The admission price for the palace is 28€ so there's a lot of money per paying customer left over. This tour should be $50 maximum and perhaps a little less.

Totally recommend this tour. Our tour guide was very nice, very knowledgable, and was a great story teller. He made the history interesting and the tour allows for you to see parts of the palace not accessible to the public.

So much beauty! Take the time to walk to the top of the gardens to look down on it and see the city below. You can also go up on the roof at the garden breakfast area mentioned on the tour. I can’t believe the servants had to take their breakfast up there. It looked like you could go upon the roof for the lookout. Wish we would have.
