Bought tickets online, waited for the bus (it’s not obvious where to wait) and when it turned up it was full. The driver claimed our tickets were not valid despite the company name on the booking being the same as the name on the bus and the bus being the same one as in the photo! When we contacted them they told us we could wait and get another bus in an hour which was not acceptable especially if that one wouldn’t let us on either probably. A business model that consists of selling ad many tickets as you can when there is only one bus with limited seats isn’t great is it? Might be okay if you just turn up and buy a ticket if there is a seat free otherwise definitely don’t bother!

We took the Vintage Bus from Valetta to Rabat and Mdina, and we were the only people on the bus for the journey, which was fabulous. We slid all the windows around us open, and that made the bus lovely and cool with the breeze. On the way back, there were a few other passengers, some of whom said they made the outward journey on the larger air-conditioned bus, which they said was very hot. So glad we chose the Vintage bus both ways. Rabat and Mdina were stunning, and the journey was not long. I will definitely do the same trip on my next visit. 5 stars for the bus and the drivers.

Booked online for the half day guided island tour. Then received an email later that day saying they had cancelled the tour because of insufficient seats sold on bus and I would receive a refund. 2 days later still awaiting refund.

Very bad communication via email. Not help or information about where and what time to meet up. Don't pre book the trip. As it's the same price on the bus.

It is not made clear that there are two vintage bus company’s. Only one company display their bus times at bus stops and it’s NOT this company. The buses do not have their company signage displayed on the bus to make it clear which one you are potentially using. We ended up using the other company and having to pay an additional fee. The fee was considerably cheaper than the one we had originally booked. Not at all happy 😞

This was a really lovely experience and much more comfortable than expected. It was our first time to Malta so it would have been helpful if the driver had called out which stop we were at instead of us having to ask. Overall a good tour

Waited for 40 minutes at meeting point. A vintage coach turned up but was told that our tickets were not valid for this coach and that we had been scammed

Great experience. Just pick up on street in St Juliens and did trip to Mdina. Authentic style bus, fare a little more than public bus but worth the ride.
