Took the Vintage Tour a few days ago with Vincent. He was excellent and made it a fun experience. We loved roaming Dihua St and learning more about the neighborhood, Taiwan’s history and culture. Highly recommended.

We had a lovely tour with Leo! We did the Vintage tour in the afternoon and it was very enjoyable. We have younger children and were a bit unsure if they would enjoy it but they did - they interacted with Leo, asked lots of questions and walked away having had a great time! Sadly no photos as we were too busy in the moment but the tour was in a charming part of the city which we might not have visited otherwise.

Very interesting tour. Leo did an amazing job leading us through a historic section of Taipei and introducing us to some traditional Taiwanese foods. This is a great add on tour to the Introduction tour. A big plus if you get Leo for both!

Leo was the best tour guy ever! He was funny, informative, and very sweet. He has a lot of knowledge about the history of Taiwan and there was something I was looking for to learn about. It’s so cute. He definitely had some perks for us like tasting delicious tea, pineapple cake and just giving us overall guidance through the different markets and what to buy. I will definitely recommend Leo as your free walking tour guy.

I’ve been living in Taipei for a while and saw this tour listed on Meetup. It was great to learn more about the history and development of areas so close to my home! Although I had visited DiHua Old Street area before, this tour taught me so much, and really helped me build a sense of place. I also found the answers to some things I had wondered about when visiting temples in the past. Thank you Chester for being such an enthusiastic yet chill tour guide!

Take your time to see the highlights of the spot with careful English commentary. Finally, the river along the Freshwater River is dissolved. The beer shop at the meeting point has nothing to do with this tour and if you wait inside, no one will come out. After the break-up, the members stopped by the beer shops we were working with, and we enjoyed exchanging information. They said it was rare for Japanese to participate in English tours. If you want to talk about traveling with Westerners, I would love to. I don't think there's any need to overdo the tip. I guess it's kind of conducive to the explanation~
