Well organized tour operator, but what really made this a great experience if the gallery was our guide. Federica (apologies if misspelled!) is such a knowledgeable art historian that I felt like I could have asked her anything about any piece in the collection, not just the ones she highlighted. The way she talked about the pieces she did highlight for us really brought them to life.

Our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and had some wonderful insights into the history of the building and so many of the sculptures and paintings. One small point of recommendation would be if she could speak a bit slower. The sound was loud enough through the headphone, but she was still a bit difficult to understand.

This tour was really great: The guide was an expert and very knowledgeable, and very enthusiastic about sharing his knowledge with us on the tour. The collection and the building are spectacular. It is an art tour and it was really valuable to learn more about the art, the artists as well as the time period. The tour was worth every penny of the cost and we recommend it without reservations.

It was our first visit to this Baroque museum. Frederico was an excellent guide as a student of art history. He explained the history of the family, how the gallery came into existence and how it became a public museum, all while showing us the unique layout and wonderful statues and paintings to be seen. We enjoyed the tour immensely.

The Borghese Gallery shouldn't be missed. The Bernini masterpieces were breathtakingly beautiful and the entire collection was tremendous. We were incredibly lucky with our guide. He was a wealth of information about the works of art themselves, while connecting the history and background together. There wasn't a question he couldn't answer with great detail!
