What To Expect
Po Nagar Cham Towers
Po Nagar is a Cham temple tower founded sometime before 781 and located in the medieval principality of Kauthara, near modern Nha Trang in Vietnam. It is dedicated to Yan Po Nagar, the goddess of the country, who came to be identified with the Hindu goddesses Bhagavati and Mahishasuramardini, and who in Vietnamese is called Thiên Y Thánh Mẫu. The Po Nagar complex is situated on Cù Lao Mountain. It consists of three levels, the highest of which encompasses two rows of towers. The main tower is about 25 m high. The temple's central image is a 1.2m tall stone statue of the goddess Yan Po Nagar sitting cross-legged, dressed only in a skirt, with ten hands holding various symbolic items. According to Vietnamese scholar Ngô Vǎn Doanh, these attributes show that Yan Po Nagar was identified also with the Hindu goddess Mahishasuramardini or Durga, the slayer of the buffalo-demon. Dam market is regarded as the most famous market in the coastal city of Nha Trang because of its beautiful architecture and uniqueness. Dam market was officially opened after being planned and built, and it quickly became one of Nha Trang's largest markets, with a 5270 square meter floor surface and a capacity of up to 3000 people. This market has a new one-of-a-kind architecture. The round shape of Dam market draws visitors' attention from afar. The roof of this market is said to resemble the undulating waves of the sea. Others say it resembles the pistil of a lotus blooming in the middle of the swamps, with the lotus petals pointing out as the city's various streets.

5.00Wow, the tour was one of the best ones we’ve ever taken. Long was a great tour guide and extremely knowledgeable for all the locations we went to. My favorite had to be the market for some good deals but the temples and giant Buddha were breathtaking. Anytime we are in Vietnam we will definitely take any tour offered by Long. He is also a great photographer !!!

5.00What a day. From the moment we booked the trip communication was excellent. Pickup was on time 9am, air con mini bus, water on pickup. Door service all day at all major sites of interest including history, details and information at each site. Lunch was a great experience at a local restaurant eating local food. If you want an unforgettable day, then this is the trip, over 150 photos taken by Sa our guide. She knew how to get the best photos and isn't afraid to tell people to move in the busy places. Highly recommend. Very hard using words to say how good this day trip was. Dropped off at 5pm

5.00We had a great Nha Trang City private tour with Sa. She is very knowledgeable and was flexible and thoughtful, especially as our group included an elderly traveler. She adjusted the pace to keep us comfortable throughout the tour. After the tour, Sa went above and beyond by helping us as a translator during a medical emergency, which we truly appreciated. Highly recommended

5.00Lam was very knowledgeable & took us to many interesting places within our time restrictions. Lam took us to a local restaurant where we ate some amazing food. A point of note is that some of the attractions had many steps so consider this when choosing your destinations.
