What To Expect
Paia
No trip to Maui is complete without a trip to Paia, Maui’s coolest little town. Located on the North Shore, Paia started as a plantation town with the opening of Paia Store in 1896 to serve the needs of the multi-cultural plantation workers of Paia Sugar Mill.
Ke'anae Arboretum
Located adjacent to the Pi'ina'au Stream, the Ke'anae Arboretum features terraces built by ancient Hawaiians for cultivating taro, which was a staple of their diet. A paved walkway measuring 0.6 miles runs through the arboretum, showcasing a diverse array of timber, fruit, and ornamental trees from different tropical regions of the world, many of which are labeled with nameplates. With over 150 types of tropical plants, including taro, the arboretum is an excellent spot to observe native flowers and marvel at the vibrant bark of rainbow eucalyptus trees.

5.00Five stars all the way. We had the absolute best day with Experience Hawaii Tours. Michael picked our family up right from the Four Seasons Resort Maui at Wailea and made the entire experience completely seamless from start to finish. Honestly one of the highlights of our trip to Hawaii. Michael was amazing, super friendly, knowledgeable, fun, and made everyone in our family feel comfortable and taken care of the entire day. You can tell he genuinely cares about creating an unforgettable experience and not just rushing through a tour. Everything was beautiful, relaxed, and personalized. The scenery, the stops, the stories, and the overall experience were incredible. Worth every penny and then some. If you are visiting Maui and want a private experience that feels special and stress free, book with Experience Hawaii. She truly catered to our wants and needs throughout the day and made sure we were comfortable, having fun, and getting the most out of every stop. Her knowledge of the area was beyond impressive — she knew all of the best hidden spots, scenic stops, photo opportunities, and local gems along the way. 5.002nd time doing road to Hāna tour. We did the private tour with Melissa and definitely was worth the extra money! She customizes the tour of what you want to see and do. This time around, we learned even more than we experienced the 1st time. Our daughter really enjoyed it and Melissa catered trip around her as well to make sure she had a great tour. Highly recommend Melissa if you want an experienced driver, and someone who knows a lot about the island and road to Hana especially!!

5.00Our VIP Private tour with Luke was Awesome! We were a family of 6 (4 adults, 10 yr old and 6 yr old). Luke’s knowledge of not only the sites we visited on the Road to Hana, but knowledge in general ….from everything about the history and culture of the island, the sunflower farms we passed on the way, plants, trees, etc. He was very accommodating with our needs…..being picked up at our hotel by a certain time and needing to be back at a certain time and it all worked out just right. His driving was excellent. We visited the black sand beach, a fun waterfall so all could get out and swim, turtle beach, a lava rock beach, etc. He even jumped off the cliff of the water fall with my son-in-law! Stopped at great places for banana bread, Huli chicken for lunch and homemade chocolate (East Maui Chocolate cocoa farm)….all locally owned an operated!!! It was truly a great day!

5.00ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! Melissa was INCREDIBLE. She fit the experience to what we wanted and showed us all the amazing sights along the road to Hana. Picked us up at the meeting point and the fun began immediately. Definitely recommend!! $1300.00 for a couple, it was worth every cent. We spent 10 hours but it felt like 5 minutes because we were having so much fun!
