What To Expect
Paia
No trip to Maui is complete without a trip to Paia, Maui’s coolest little town. Located on the North Shore, Paia started as a plantation town with the opening of Paia Store in 1896 to serve the needs of the multi-cultural plantation workers of Paia Sugar Mill.
Ke'anae Arboretum
Located adjacent to the Pi'ina'au Stream, the Ke'anae Arboretum features terraces built by ancient Hawaiians for cultivating taro, which was a staple of their diet. A paved walkway measuring 0.6 miles runs through the arboretum, showcasing a diverse array of timber, fruit, and ornamental trees from different tropical regions of the world, many of which are labeled with nameplates. With over 150 types of tropical plants, including taro, the arboretum is an excellent spot to observe native flowers and marvel at the vibrant bark of rainbow eucalyptus trees.

1.00Worst experience of our life. Cars used to take from cable ride to hiking were unsafe. So dirty broken and dangerous. When we went up after the hike., the bar was closed. Then we went to another bar. That was unforgettable nasty dirty homeless place. We decided to quit the tour. We paid extra to drop off to the drivers of both car to bring us back where we were picked up. $165 we paid should we refund refunded. Viator take a tour before you give us this please.

5.00Dave delivered a bussin' tour! We drove along the Road to Hana, and stopped at multiple locations along the way! Such a great day had by all! If you are looking for a family fun tour and do not want the stress of navigating the Hana roads, I would highly recommend. Dave checked on us multiple times along the way to make sure we were comfortable. Overall an excellent tour!

5.00Melissa was awesome!! She did such a great job showing us great sites along the road to Hana. She was so kind, very informative, and did a great job teaching us so much about Hawaii while being fun to spend a day with. She is a 10/10 experience and great to work with!

5.00While any good tour is based in beautiful sights, great stops, warm sunny weather, and nice walks on alluring stretches of forest and beaches - we got all of these. Yet, our experience expanded because of Koby, our expert tour driver. Our experiences were 20/10 as Koby shared his knowledge of many (and I mean many!) small places that each easily make your day from little known access to lava tubes, a beautiful river lined with bamboo forests, black sand beaches, stopping on road bents to taste Hawaiian fruits, jumping from waterfalls, visiting a local grower to taste fruit and chocolate from Hawaii, and then go a beautiful Hana bay for lunch to have the best chicken and pork BBQ… on and on. Ending the tour we stopped for a sunset view at Ho’okipa Beach Park where we stopped counting at 80 turtles sleeping on the beach!! Through each of these places and all along the way, Koby showed his deep knowledge and love of the history, geography, plants, animals, culture and peoples of Hawaii. His ebullient personality and love for the culture was something we felt fortunate to have shared. Literally, the four of us had the best tour ever!
