We did the tour with our guide Chi, who was an excellent guide, his English was great and sense of humour made the day all the more enjoyable. I had read reviews of tours from HCMC that went by bus and I didn’t want to spend 2 hours in traffic each way. The boat was an excellent way to travel to the Cu Chi Tunnels site, we got to experience and see different sights than we would have otherwise. The tunnel tour was great. We loved learning about the history and the ingenious ways that the people used and lived in the tunnels during the various wars with France and the USA. You can go into the tunnels and one section there is a maximum 100m walk/crawl if you’re brave enough to go for it. The tour included lunch, which was some traditional Vietnamese fried spring rolls, a pork and a chicken dish served with rice and also chicken soup. Overall I would thoroughly recommend this tour.

Mister Chister was so knowledgeable about the area and has been working as a guide for 25 years! He was able to answer all of our questions about the war & more. We felt touched by his personal stories for how the war affected him & his family & how he is personally moving forward from it. We had a great experience with him in the cu chi tunnels.

This was the best way to experience the Cu Chi tunnels and we lucked out with Chister (Mr Chi) as our guide. The speedboat ride was smooth and efficient, beating all of the tour buses and vans, and thus, the crowds. Mr Chi was incredibly knowledgeable (with personal experience and fantastic English) and kept the pace to stay in front of other groups. He was great with my 9yo son and 12yo daughter. We are all so glad we went with this tour, even if it was more expensive than others you can find.

Great tour with very informative and friendly guide. Travelling by speedboat is the only way to go, avoiding the intense Ho Chi Minh traffic. Small group of 12 allowed us to keep moving at a steady pace to ensure we got the most out of the experience.
