5.00My son and I went to the Cu Chi Tunnels by speedboat in May 2026. It was just starting to get hot for Saigon and I was really glad that we chose the speedboat route. Getting to observe the scenic route and breeze as we traveled on the Saigon River was the way to go. Our guide, Danny, provided an informative and engaging tour of the Cu Chit Tunnels. His sense of humor, combined with his extensive historical knowledge and context, greatly enhanced the overall experience. I would recommend to anyone visiting Saigon.

5.00Chister met us on time and escorted us to the harbor where we boarded our speedboat, which was non-stop to the Cu Chi Tunnels. The entire experience was mind blowing, and in the small group environment, Chister made sure all of our questions were answered. From the history of the place, to the specifics of how the local population used the tunnels to escape the ravages of the American occupation, to a local lunch, we we well looked after, and I’d highly recommend seeing the tunnels via the speedboat, which saves an immense amount of time. Throughout our journey on the water, Chister pointed out multiple local landmarks and former points which were occupied by Americans. I’d highly recommend Chister and the Saigon River Tour company.

5.00Yo was exceptional n retelling the Vietnamese history of the location, the boat ride was the best way to experience what life on the river was like. Would highly recommend other travels take this tour and utilise Saigon River Tours. Great day !!!

5.00Our group had a wonderful experience with our guide Danny who was very informative and made the whole experience worthwhile. Travelling by speedboat is a must. Adding a a Saigon river experience on the way there just made it a complete highlight of our trip. I’m claustrophobic, so I didn’t actually go into the tunnels but there was still heaps for me to see and learn. The Vietnamese lunch was also delightful and we couldn’t eat everything on our table.

5.00The best way to experience the Cu Chi Tunnels. The boat ride is pleasant and fast which allows you to beat the bus crowds. Our guide Chi ‘s knowledge of how to get through the site efficiently and without lots of other groups as well as his personal stories really enriched the whole experience.

5.00Speedboat down Saigon river was amazing, got us there before the crowds. mr Chi was a great guide, imparting great knowledge of life in those times, and allowing us to hear all about working, surviving and the war in the tunnels. Mr Chi also included his own family personal history to bring more depth and understanding. Great day out !
