On this tour you’ll learn about out culture by hearing live documentary from a license tour guide, we will explain the history of the island from the ancestors Taino until the modern days being a US territory, will walk with you on the trail to help identify tree species and spot wildlife native to the island, weather permitting we may have and opportunity to cool off at the Rio mameyes with water temperatures average 70 degrees Fahrenheit that feels so refreshing!

What To Expect
During this tour we will do a few different stops for sightseeing and pictures, including a short walk, climb an observation tower for a nice view of the east coast of PR, a roadside waterfall for pictures an a river stop where weather permitting we may have a chance to swim! We will stop at a local place to buy food and back to San Juan!

5.00Ingrid was an excellent tour guide who provided lots of information about Puerto Rico History and the vegetation that grows on the island. The tour does different stops within the forest for sightseeing and pictures including a river for swimming. It’s suitable for families and small children. We stopped for a delicious lunch. Overall a fun day

5.00Book with Rafael! We loved our tour with him, he was very thoughtful and considerate of the guests, picked us up at our hotels, made sure we were comfortable. He talked about history, wildlife, and tips for enjoying the island, made us laugh a bunch. Safety is his #1 priority and great driver! Stop for lunch was authentic and very delicious
