Here, time runs differently. The visitor not only hears about the history of the cachaça — he lives it, between the aroma of the caypira yeast and the heat of direct fire. Engenho Boa Vista is not a scene: it is a living organism, where every detail carries centuries of tradition. The real spice lies in authenticity — a cachaça made as it always was, in a place where past and present continue to meet in the alambic.

During this experience at the Engenho Boa Vista, the oldest alambique in Brazil in operation, visitors get to know the history of the place, which belonged to the Tiradentes family. The visit includes an explanation on the process of artisanal production of cachaça, which preserves traditional techniques such as the use of direct fire and caypira yeast made with water mill fubá. At the end, a guided tasting of three own labels is conducted, following the methodology of the Engenho, which teaches the visitor to appreciate the cachaça with attention to the senses - valuing aroma, taste and texture in a conscious and pleasant way.

I did the guided tour with some foreign friends, and even in another language (English), the experience was amazing! Francis was able to pass on his passion for ingenuity and the whole tradition of his family in the production of cachaça for more than two centuries. I recommend the visit, it is really very interesting! My friends liked it too!

The visit is very nice and the content is very complete. It has history, technique and family tradition that is in the ninth generation producing cachaça. And that cachaça, in fact, we tasted three, all excellent and each with their own characteristics very well explained by the host.

A journey in time and history by ingenuity. The boys are super attentive and polite, out of the narrative told with mastery with every detail. It was an excellent experience from the explanations to the tasting. Thank you very much me and my family loved.
