What To Expect
Discover kayaking on the Vjosa River, the last wild river in Europe, with the perfect mix of safety and adventure. Meet at our riverside base in Përmet, where you’ll receive EU-certified equipment and an introduction to paddling techniques. Once on the river, your guide stays close in a support raft, offering tips and assistance so everyone feels secure. Enjoy calm pools, gentle channels, playful waves, swimming stops, and photo opportunities before returning to base for free photos, showers, and relaxation. Typical age: 14+ and comfortable with water; final suitability determined by the guide. Kayaking experience: * From March – June (spring, higher water levels): good kayaking knowledge required (confident paddling, steering, and handling). * From July – October (summer/autumn, calmer flow): only basic knowledge required. Pregnancy: please consult before booking; suitability depends on daily river flow.
