We had a wonderful experience at Vok baths, found the changing facilities very clean and warm, staff friendly and bar good. The pools themselves are lovely so warm and in such a fantastic setting right on the lake. The steam room and cold mist tunnel was excellent. What was the highlight for us was the cold plunge direct in the lake - an experience we didn’t get anywhere else in Iceland and it felt so invigorating! Would highly recommend a stop here if driving the full ring road, felt like a lovely rest before continuing our drive and was so relaxing!

Went to the baths after a long drive and it was perfect to unwind. The place is large with 3 pools with different temperatures. If you want the cold plunge, you can go in the lake directly from one of the pools. There's also a steam room and you get a complementary tea with the admission ticket. The changing rooms are large, clean and modern, fully equipped with toiletries

Super fun experience, even at night time! We went after a full day of hiking the surrounding area & it was the perfect way to end the day!

A perfect end to the day in the natural bathing lake and the different warm pools with drinks at the pool bar. Atmospheric lights at nightfall. Free swimming wings for little ones are available.

We used the Vok baths at night (with a full moon) and it was quite a lovely experience. The cold plunge is a must try-even if you’re on the fence about it, just got for it!

I loved that this was on a lake and that the cold plunge was the lake, itself! So open and beautiful. Even with other people around, I somehow felt like I had a nice amount of space.

Relaxed and chilled. Stunning location and fabulous little bar for drinks whilst chilling in one of the 4 pools

The pools overlook a beautiful lake with hills in the distance. It is a wonderful way to spend a couple of hours after a day of hiking or driving. There a few pools of varying temperatures and a sauna. For those wanting to cool off, a jump into the lake does the trick. While not our favorite spa (that goes to the Forest Lagoon in Akuyeri), the Vök Baths were very nice. The only negative was how slippery the main pool was. That will, of course, be corrected when they clean it again.

Vok baths is a really cool experience. 3 different temperature pools plus sauna overlookinga lake. You can cool off in the 10 degree lake which is exhilarating. You need to shower before entering pool with limited private space to do so. Found the check in reception lady treated me like an imbecile as I was struggling with her thick Spanish accent and very rapid speech, which was unnecessary and demeaning as i was trying to understand the wrist band pricing etc. Soured the experience some what as she was not kind.
