5.00Franklin made the whole experience so fun and comfortable, everything felt really safe and we were provided with all the equipment and clothing for the activity. The photos and videos provided are so professional and really made part of the experience. A must if you’re visiting León, we all had the best time.

5.00I went back on forth on whether to do this before my trip after reading some mixed reviews here. In the end, I’m really glad I did it. Yes, it’s a little bit touristy — but with good reason. The views were beautiful, in many ways the hike up was even more fun than the slide down. It seems like risk of injury is pretty minimal as long as you’re responsible with your speed.

5.00windy but good hike up to crater. guide was awesome, took pics and videos of us going up and boarding down keep mouth shut going down so you don't end up with a mouth of grit when you get to the bottom!

5.00Had the best time volcano boarding with Vamos Travel. Franklin was professional, knowledgeable and clearly very passionate about his job and country. It was great to be able to hike the volcano and see the spectacular views. All the equipment was provided (thankfully we didn’t have to carry the boards) and Franklin took the best videos. Highly recommend!

5.00An absolutely amazing experience! I had been looking forward to volcano boarding here for over 13 years and it beat my expectations! I would highly recommend this tour to anyone, particularly with Vamos Travel Nic. Franklin and his team do an amazing job to give you a unique experience. Everything went to schedule and was well planned. He also does an amazing job capturing photos and videos of the experience as mementos! He also creates a fun vibe with music to pump you up during the hike to the top. I also appreciated his insights on the geology around us. The tour was well priced and efficient in half a day.

5.00Volcano boarding at Cerro Negro was an absolute highlight! Franklin was the best guide we could’ve asked for—super knowledgeable and engaging. On the way to the volcano, he shared fascinating history about León, and during the hike up he explained interesting facts about Cerro Negro itself, which made the whole experience even more meaningful. The hike up wasn’t too challenging, and the ride down was pure adrenaline and so much fun. On top of that, the photos and videos Franklin took were perfect and such a great way to remember an unforgettable experience. Highly recommend this adventure, especially with Franklin as your guide!
