Great experience! This day trip went smoothly. The hike to the eruption site, although it was quite windy and a bit snowy, was not too challenging and definitely worth the walk to see the steaming lava field. Our guide was knowledgeable and provided lots of information on the not only the eruption site, but the culture, history and geography of Iceland as we drove to various sites. Highly recommended!!

Our trip to Volcano Eruption Site with our guide, Vjeran, was fantastic! I don’t have enough words to explain how nice the trip was. The stories were interesting to listen, whole our group was gathered with amazing people and the cherry on the top of the cake was our guide, who made this trip 10/10. We weren’t sure taking this tour, but at the end we are insanely happy for doing it. You will be super lucky to have such a guide!

Vjeran was an exceptionally friendly, enthusiastic and knowledgable guide who did an amazing job taking us through the Reykjanes peninsula. Each stop was well worth it and I really appreciated Vjeran’s depth of knowledge about every location and Icelandic history in general. One of the best guided tours I’ve taken in a while!

Great hike and wonderful time with guide, Ottar! It was an adventurous hike and would recommend for those who like rugged nature (would be good to bring grippy shoes). Overall, had a great time!

This tour was phenomenal from start to finish. Hiking across the newly formed lava fields was an otherworldly experience. Our guide, Ottar, was great—he was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and made sure everyone had an amazing time. Combined with the boiling hot springs and dramatic coastal views, it felt like exploring another planet.
