The pilot and ground crew...

5.0The pilot and ground crew were very organized and informative. The flight was smooth and we saw a lot of the island. We did think we’d be a little closer to the ground to view the volcanos but it was still a great experience.

4.0Drew, our Helicopter guide, was professional , safe and knowledgeable. The two workers that greeted us and got us prepped were friendly. We were informed to be there 40 minutes before the excursion, we did a lot of sitting around and waiting.30 minutes before is PLENTY of time. Our tour was 25 minutes late, so be prepared. The ride was smooth, felt very safe and learned a lot. We were able to see the Kilauea volcano and the lava flowing out. I did have expectations to see other parts of the island such as cliffs and waterfalls a little closer. Everything seemed somewhat far away almost as if we were in a plane. I had this idea with a helicopter that we would be able to get closer and get a feel for the size and magnitude of things, that was a disappointment. Make sure to do research before embarking on the trip, nothing is cheap. Overall my kids enjoyed the event. Mahalo
