We booked this tour and last minute the weather would not allow us to go to the volcano. Until then it was fine. They could have called us and let us know saving the 2 hour drive there. I got the feeling they did not say anything as once we are there they would send us on another tour. There were 6 of us in the group and either all 6 went on the substituted tour or no one went. Then they proceeded to ask in front of everyone whether we agree to the waterfall tour. While they said no pressure, there is pressure as if 4 agree u feel bad say no. They offered a refund but again all 6 had to agree on the same decision. The waterfall tour was very disappointing as well. They should have communicated much earlier that the weather was not conducive for volcano and only if some wanted to go on the substituted tour that should have been allowed. Will not deal with them again. Weather they can't control. Communication they can.

My husband and I are 73 & 76 years old. We really wanted to see volocanos but are unable to hike so we opted for the Safari Helicopter tour. The pilot and ground staff was very professional and helpful each encounter that I had with them. The helicopter tour was amazing with great views of the volcanoes and waterfalls. The pilot's narrative was constant and informative. We always knew what we were seeing and interesting facts about it.

The flight didn’t take place because we got stuck in unexpected roadwork traffic and couldn’t arrive on time. As soon as we realized the situation, we called about an hour in advance to inform your team, but no assistance or flexibility was offered. Despite the fact that there were still available seats, we were not given the option to rebook or find any reasonable solution. Instead, the response we received was dismissive and, at times, quite rude. This was an $800 flight, and we arrived less than 10 minutes late. Given the circumstances especially on an island where delays like roadwork are unpredictable we expected at least some level of understanding or accommodation. Additionally, the listing advertises “free cancellation” in the title, which feels misleading and does not reflect the actual experience or policy we encountered. Overall, this was very disappointing, both in terms of customer service and transparency.

Due to weather Conte were unable to do the volcano tour. However, we were offered a coastal tour instead and it did not disappoint! We flew into a beautiful valley that can not be accessed any other way. We saw giant waterfalls and black sand beaches. Drew, our pilot, was incredibly knowledgeable.

A real treat. Price is high but experience too. 2 weeks is good to see a lot. Very low key. Quite a few tourists. People are always friendly. Good for trekking.

◦ For 20 years I have really wanted to take a helicopter ride. It has been a bucket list thing for me. So finally it became a reality. So we chose Safari Helicopters. After the hour tour I’m having conflicting feelings. I loved being in the helicopter and seeing the volcano and the surrounding area was amazing. But the experience wasn’t exactly what I had hoped for. It wasn’t as fun and exciting as I had hoped. Drew is a great pilot. I felt safe and he obviously knows his way around the area. And maybe it was because as passengers we weren’t interactive enough. But the narrative was very rehearsed and canned. There was no “ hey we’re are you from?” “ how is everyone?” With all the ocean we didn’t even fly over it, just straight to the volcano, straight to the same waterfall he always goes to and straight back to the airport. He never even turned and smiled at us. No swooping, laughing, I don’t know. I mean 750 for the two of us, another 100 for the tip, 20 for parking. Maybe I just made it bigger in my mind. I’m still glad I did it and it’s crossed off my list.

Beautiful views but we couldn't go up closer to see the volcano due to weather and clouds so that was disappointing. Saw new island land, steaming calderas and flowing waterfalls. Informative pilot. Learned a lot and had a completely new experience. Loved it overall.
