What To Expect

Hawaii Volcanoes National Park

Travelers will take of from Hilo Airport where they will fly directly to the volcanoes national park. Along the way they will see orchid farms and lush native forest that are in large part only found on big island. The volcanoes national park gives breathtaking views of lava flows both old and new.

Great experience! We took our kids which are 14, 11 and 6. The staff at the building were amazing and made everyone feel so welcomed. The pilot, Jim, was great! He was full of information and flew the helicopter perfectly. By the time it was over we felt like we flew with our family and friends. The views of the active volcano were perfect that day with perfect weather. Highly recommend this experience for everyone. Thank you Safari! We would do it again!

Spectacular way to see Hawaii. Our pilot was the best, providing narration, views and history all in one flight. The ground staff was top notch and very accommodating. A must do if you're in Hilo.

What a bunch of kind and knowledgeable people! We had to reschedule a couple of times due to weather but they were extremely kind, knowledgeable and helpful! I definitely recommend this company!

I was in the seat behind pilot, I actually had a mark on my leg from the door handle. 4 people in back seat. My legs actually were in space to the right of the pilots seat. I could not look out. I asked him finally to turn circles so I could see, he kept making left turns. I'm sure the pilot could see on a left turn, not me

Cookie and the rest of the staff is great. Jim our pilot was very professional and had tons of knowledge on the area. Disappointing not getting to go up to the top due to weather conditions but still so much see with all the great coastlines, previous eruptions, macadamia farms and waterfalls.

It was marvelous- the pilot was very attentive to our handicap passengers. The ground crew was wonderful and helpful making sure we were safe. The ride hade fantastic views.
