What To Expect
Cruise in our cool retro Kombi (exclusive and personal with seating for 6 passengers only) along the coast line into the stunning Tuki Tuki valley, enjoy rural and river vistas. Stop for coffee (at your own expense) at the Red Bridge Container café. Drive up Te Mata Peak, enjoy truly panoramic vistas. Descend the Peak and visit one of Hawkes Bays premier fruit and vegetables outlets and sample some seasonal fruit. Enjoy a real fruit ice cream (at your own expense). Visit Arataki Honey Centre in Havelock North and enjoy honey tastings, live hives, and all things honey! Finish with Napier Art Deco city highlights. Commentary, lots of photo stops and rest rooms available enroute. This tour is perfect for cruise ship passengers. If there is time restraints due to docking and departure the itinerary can be adjusted to suit. Tour is 3.5 – 4 hours duration.

5.00Loved this tour from start to finish.Great communication from Craig tour provider regarding pickup. Travel in style in this incredible camper wagon taking in the views while all the time being given great local culture information from Craig. It’s not always easy finding tours with my wife being in a wheelchair but this didn’t stop Craig at all from making us feel welcome and giving us a great time. Highly recommended

5.00What better way to see the area than in a VW bus! Craig just makes this tour the best! Traveling thru apple country to beautiful lookouts to the Miami-esque downtown and trying manuka honey ... what a great city. Don't see the area any other way!

5.00Craig, our guide, was very personable with a great sense of humor and a lot of inside knowledge of the Hawes Bay area. The VW is classic and comfortable for a group of six plus our guide. His stories and stops along the way made our short cruise ship stop feel like we got the most of our limited time in port. 5.00This tour was perfect for me! Felt so cute tooling around in the VW! With a small group of six guests max, it was wonderful to be able to get to know them. Craig was a fabulous host and answered any and all questions we had about the area and New Zealand in general. We had a quick stop for just-picked local stone fruits that were delicious. Coffee and conversation at an adorable coffee place. Then up to the top of Te Mata Peak for unbelievable 360 degree views of the region, with parasailers taking off right there. Then back down to a family owned honey business that has been in business for decades that was so educational. And they had a wonderful gift shop where I picked up some great gifts to take home. The scenery in this region while driving around is just magical. Back in town we passed by and learned about the art deco history of the area. I would highly recommend this tour with Craig!
