It was a cold and windy day when we went and we wondered if we would enjoy it. However, all 4 of us thoroughly did!! They had blankets available to use and had drop down windows if needed to help. The best thing they had that kept us from feeling the chill was having an excellent tour guide with great information and given in an entertaining style. You learn about the animals, plants, local customs, history of the area and of the waterway. Definitely recommend.

We have done the river tour several times...we love this tour! Captain and crew are so friendly and we always have a great time! We saw 2 alligators this trip, so many Osprey and always enjoy the information given out on the tour about the wildlife and Myrtle beach history! Can't wait to go again!

One of the most interesting river cruises I’ve ever taken. This is a family run business and this family knows what it’s doing to make you feel welcomed. The entire experience was a pleasure from beginning to end. I learned so much about the wildlife here. We saw turtles, many kinds of birds (the osprey’s were fascinating), and alligators. We even got to see a very small one. I learned about the native flora, and why not to touch certain plants. And, the narrative was full of interesting facts. Even young children were entertained. I enjoyed many a laugh, too. These folks know their stuff. We also learned about the history of the area and the folks who were brought here to be sold as slaves. I feel so much more open because of my experience. I’d give it 6 stars if I could.

Agnes and the captain did a great job. Agnes was full of great information about what we were seeing. Would recommend. Just not when so cold. We went when it was cold and still had a good time.

It was really great. The area is gorgeous. Agnes was a fabulous guide and very knowledgeable about the area as well as personable and engaging with guests. I would recommend sitting on the right as a lot of the stuff you end up looking at is on the right -very hard or impossible to see on the left side of the boat. It was a great tour and very worth the money

Our river tour was great, and we saw osprey, turtles and alligators. Our guide Agnes was a fountain of historic and wildlife information and the Captain brought the boat close to the wildlife that we were able to see. This was a very relaxing and informative one and a half hours, and we learned not only about the wildlife but about the history of the area, the effects of some recent hurricanes on the river and the land, the old rice plantations and the scourge of slavery, Carolina Gold rice, and Tupelo honey. Lots of fun for grade school and up.

It was excellent!!! Very informative, interesting, and definitely worth it! If you go in the springtime, it is good to wear something warm because of the wind. They offered blankets too.
