Discover Waiheke Island’s famous vineyards, coastal scenery, and relaxed island lifestyle on a scenic wine tour. Choose between two experiences: a 5-hour small-group tour or a 4-hour premium experience on a double-decker bus.
The 5-hour tour includes visits to 4 wineries, with wine tastings at 3 locations. At the 4th stop, Batch Winery, guests enjoy free time for lunch at their own expense, with panoramic views over the water. This option offers a relaxed pace, more winery stops, and time to enjoy a lunch surrounded by vineyards.
The 4-hour double-decker bus tour is a shorter, scenic experience featuring 2 iconic wineries, a charcuterie board included at one, a wine tasting flight served onboard the bus & a stunning beach walk. This option focuses on comfort, views, and a unique tasting experience while travelling through Waiheke’s vineyards and coastal landscapes. The tour was planned perfectly timewise. We exited the ferry, Rob was waiting with the bus and we started the tasting tour of 3 exceptionally beautiful wineries. The lunch was in another beautiful spot and the food was delicious. Rob was engaging and informative. The day could not have been better!

I was a wonderful day! The island is beautiful and the wine was great! I would suggest not filling the bus so full because in the last big bench in the back has no A/C and no speaker to hear the guide while driving

Wines were good! Wish there would have been chocolate or meat and cheeses @ the tastings. Gift shops @ wineries need to have a better selection

All three wineries and one restaurant we visited were great places. The batch winery where I ate lunch in particular was indulgent with views that could be enjoyed as far away as Auckland. The blue sky that I looked up at as I lay on the cushion in the garden right after was awesome!

Our tour guide, Tooroa, made the experience great. He remembered every single person‘s name on the bus and made the trip fun. He gave us lots of detail about local sites and personalities on the island. The 4 wineries visited were sufficiently different and all interesting in their own right - most with spectacular views. All easily accommodated a group such as ours and each host was friendly and knowledgeable about the wines we were tasting.
