At the 4th stop, Batch Winery, guests enjoy free time for lunch at their own expense, with panoramic views over the water. This option offers a relaxed pace, more winery stops, and time to enjoy a lunch surrounded by vineyards.
The 4-hour double-decker bus tour is a shorter, scenic experience featuring 2 iconic wineries, a charcuterie board included at one, a wine tasting flight served onboard the bus & a stunning beach walk. This option focuses on comfort, views, and a unique tasting experience while travelling through Waiheke’s vineyards and coastal landscapes. Throughout both tours, a knowledgeable local guide provides interesting commentary

The 5-hour tour on a Standard Bus includes visits to 4 wineries, with wine tastings at 3 locations. Mud Brick Winery Cable Bay Stonyridge Winery At the 4th stop, Batch Winery, guests enjoy free time for lunch at their own expense, with panoramic views over the water. This option offers a relaxed pace, more winery stops, and time to enjoy a lunch surrounded by vineyards. The 4-hour Vintage Double-Decker Bus tour is a shorter, scenic experience featuring 2 iconic wineries. 5.00This was a fantastic day made particularly memorable by our driver Nooroa. His informative and humorous commentary meant we got an insight to life on the Island as well as the wines. He made a real effort to learn everyone’s names as well. The 4 vineyards all had some delicious wines but the last two also had great sommeliers who told us about the wines and what to look for. I would recommend this tour.

5.00Great day tasting good wines and learning about a few wineries and the island. 10 am ferry was good timing - 10.15 one is too tight some almost missed the tour. Weather was great island was lovely and our guide Debbie was great fun. 3 vineyards to taste at and another place for lunch. All good. An easy must do in Auckland.

5.00A unique way to see the scenery and sample local wines at the same time. The wineries chosen were stunning, the charcuterie board had a scrumptious selection of cheeses, crackers, olives and more, and more wines could be sampled on board the bus. Dani was a happy hostess and Sharon shared her knowledge of the island while expertly steering the bus on sometimes bumpy roads. You came away envying the people lucky enough to call the Island home.

5.00Me and my partner went to this being complete wine newbies. We definitely learned alot and tasted some of NZ best wine. Our favorite was Stony Ridge, we really loved the Fallen Angel Rose Wine because it isn't too sweet and the flavour was immaculate. Airfield Red Blend was also a highlight and took some bottles home. Each spot took us around 30-35 minutes to complete. Wish some of them were longer. At the end, you may stay at the last testing spot at Mud Brick and have more of their awesome wines and fine cuisine. The tour ended around 3:35PM, just in time to arrive for the 4:20PM ride back to Auckland.

5.00Highly recommend!! Was my first time on the island and was a really fun experience getting to see 4 different wineries, some truly lovely wine stops. ROB was also a fantastic host and really made the day fun, would certainly recommend to anybody wanting a great day out in Waiheke.

5.00We had an absolute splendid time on this wine tour. Our guide Nooruah was so personable, engaging each participant by name like a very good family friend. He took us to some beautiful vineyards and also showed us around the island. He was very knowledgeable about the island, was a great driver and shepherded us with grace and care.
