Waiheke's most booked wine tour. Four vineyards, sit-down tastings, and local guides who know every winemaker on the island. This is the day out on Waiheke everyone's talking about. Your guide's a local. They live here. They know the winemakers, they know which table to grab, and they know the little stories behind the island and the people who live here.
The lunch stop is Batch Winery — the highest point on the island — with the most stunning views, food, and wines, of course. Sit down with something delicious, a glass of something delicious, and just take in the views stretching out over the water and meet the other awesome people on the tour.
After lunch, more wine tastings at Stonyridge, then the grand finale — Mudbrick Vineyard. The most iconic vineyard on Waiheke. A final glass with the Hauraki Gulf sparkling below you.
After that, it's back to the ferry — or we'll drop you somewhere on the island to keep enjoying your day.

What a fun day of wine tasting on Waiheke! Rob was our guide and he made it such a wonderful experience! He is a true local with an evident love and passion for the island - and just so chill and easy to chat with! He told us some great stories and was happy to take any and all photos. Once we arrived at the ferry terminal, he was waiting for us with a sign with our names on it. After that, we boarded our tour bus. Just to note - this is a large tour! There were 23 people on the tour. Our stops included: -Cable Bay Vineyards (tasting) -Batch (lunch - not included) -Stonyridge (tasting) -Mudbrick (tasting) All the vineyards were absolutely STUNNING and unique in their own ways! It's hard to say which one was my favorite, although I was super drawn to Stonyridge. Our tasting expert at Stonyridge was absolutely superb - apologies for forgetting his name but a Frenchman from Reims in France. His explanations were absolutely fantastic! We also had a really lovely wine expert at Mudbrick. The large group was a bit daunting at first (actually never done a wine tour with such a large group before) but everyone in the group was very friendly and lovely to chat with. Just something to note in case you thought it would be a smaller tour. There were mostly Americans as well as Aussies and French. Everything was super smooth and comfortable. After the tasting, we had time to walk around and explore (and get more wine 😉) at every single winery which was truly wonderful! We got super lucky with the weather and the views at every winery were just so gorgeous. I highly, highly recommend this tour and absolutely can't wait to come back to Waiheke on my next trip to New Zealand. Thank you to Rob and the whole team for making this such a seamless and memorable day! Until next time. I

This was a fun day of tasting and experiencing the Island of Wine. Although it was a rainy day, we enjoyed some excellent wine and our guide Debbie was fantastic!

This tour was great, but not cheap. You have to take the ferry yourself and that fee is separate from the actual wine tour. Ride was short and very pleasant. Our driver Debra was a local hoot! We saw 4 wineries, tastings at 3 and lunch at one. Had to pay for lunch separately. Cable Bay was by far the most extravagant in spite of the hype Mudbrick gets. To me that place was a disappointment. . Some of the sommeliers were hard to understand, but all the wines were very good. We also had perfect weather which made the day that much more special. I would highly recommend the tour.

This was a fantastic day made particularly memorable by our driver Nooroa. His informative and humorous commentary meant we got an insight to life on the Island as well as the wines. He made a real effort to learn everyone’s names as well. The 4 vineyards all had some delicious wines but the last two also had great sommeliers who told us about the wines and what to look for. I would recommend this tour.

Great day tasting good wines and learning about a few wineries and the island. 10 am ferry was good timing - 10.15 one is too tight some almost missed the tour. Weather was great island was lovely and our guide Debbie was great fun. 3 vineyards to taste at and another place for lunch. All good. An easy must do in Auckland.

A unique way to see the scenery and sample local wines at the same time. The wineries chosen were stunning, the charcuterie board had a scrumptious selection of cheeses, crackers, olives and more, and more wines could be sampled on board the bus. Dani was a happy hostess and Sharon shared her knowledge of the island while expertly steering the bus on sometimes bumpy roads. You came away envying the people lucky enough to call the Island home.
