My wife and I did the afternoon wine affair which involved lunch on onetangi beach and tastings at 3 different wineries. From the start I was very impressed by the communication where we received confirmation, reminders in the build up and information about booking the ferry and where to meet. We were met at the ferry terminal by our guide for the day Karen who was a very lovely, endearing, knowledgeable lady who is clearly very proud and passionate about the island. Our lunch at Ki Maha was absolutely fantastic, the food was incredible and we had a wonderful view of the beach. Karen then took us on to three wineries all of which were very different with their own quirks and charms. We ended our tour at the mudbrick vineyard which had stunning views of the island. Karen was brilliant throughout the whole day, very accommodating, both personable and professional making sure we had everything we needed and told us lots about the island as we went round, often taking us on longer and more scenic routes to show us and tell us even more. Thank you for a great trip, Marc.

Nicky was our guide. And we were the only two on the tour as she had cancellations. That made our tour a private tour. Nicky did a fantastic job. We toured around the island and saw some beautiful beaches and homes while Nicky told us about the history of the island and some of its current challenges. Being from Cape Cod we could relate. We went to Postage Stamp (which also had Obsidian wines), Batch where we had lunch with a prime table with a view and finally Mudbrick which had a definite party atmosphere. Well worth booking this trip. Thanks Nicky.

Nicky was a pleasure to tour with. She took us to some great beaches and viewpoints. Being in a small group is the only way to do the winery visits.

Nicky is a great guide, very friendly and knowledgeable. She showed us the island and gave us a lot of interesting information about life in New Zealand. The small group format is really nice- and can only be much better than the competing tours with dozens of people. We had a wonderful time.

What a fabulous tour! Nicky was great - very knowledgeable and personable. I booked it for a small group feel and it ended up just being me and my husband so basically a private tour! The 3 wineries we went to were excellent and the 2nd one where we had lunch was a great choice - gorgeous view and great food. Several other stops around the island to see beaches and other parts of the island other than just wineries. Would definitely do this tour again!

Nikki was a wonderful guide. Friendly and knowledgeable about the island and the wineries. The wineries we visited were very good. All were beautiful and well represented by the hosts. We wish they had focused more on their red wines , or that a choice of tastings was offered.

We chose this tour because it was described as small group (6 or fewer). Since we knew nothing about the island or the wineries, we did not have anything to compare the various tours. When we arrived on Waiheke, we were met by Nicky, the company owner and sole employee. We were very happy to learn we were the only customers on the tour, so we got 100% of Nicky’s attention. Nicky had a wealth of knowledge about the island that she shared while driving us around. She took us to three fine wineries, with each having unique wines and venues. At one winery we noticed large buses arriving with 20+ people for a tasting. We felt very special to have our own personal tastings. A great day, a great tour, and a great memory.

The experience was very nice. The views were beautiful despite the rain. We visited 3 wineries and learned about the different wines made on Waiheke Island . Nicky was very nice and had lots of local knowledge.
