Atlantis Submarines Waikiki provides a breathtaking experience as guests see up close colorful marine life, vibrant artificial reefs created from sunken ships, airplane parts and other structures. It’s like scuba diving without getting wet!

What To Expect
Atlantis Submarines Waikiki
The Atlantis submarine Hawaii adventure begins with a short (approximately 10 minutes) shuttle ride out to the submarine boarding site. Descending below, your time underwater on the Oahu submarine tour is around 45 minutes. Returning to the world above, your shuttle is waiting to return you to land. The Oahu submarine tour dive site is home to many Hawaiian fish, coral and turtles. On this truly eye-opening experience, you'll visit sunken ships, airplanes and other artificial reefs. The submarine has a spacious air-conditioned interior, large view ports and comfortable seating. If you haven't taken a trip to the bottom of the ocean before, the Atlantis Submarine Oahu Adventure is a "must do" for the whole family during your visit to Hawaii. Check out the world's largest hi-tech 64-passenger submarine offers an enhanced amount of personal space and large viewports only available to Premium Tour passengers.

2.00My wife and I were disappointed. You do go underwater, you do see some fish and coral, but there's not very much. Don't expect to get a view any where near what you see from RV shows or even YouTubers who snorkel. Most of the 'corals' are some minimal growth on artificial reefs the company has attempted to build up over the last 3-4 decades. Very little is there that has built up naturally over a long time period. We just didn't see a lot of variety or quantity. It was too expensive for what we did see.

5.00It’s really interesting to submerge inside a sub. Seeing all the ocean life and the places they swim around was really neat. Our guide was great- she shared a lot of good information that I’d never been told.

5.00This was perhaps the most fun adventure I had in Hawaii. It's a 100 foot custom made submarine that goes down to about 100 feet deep. It's located on a long pier at the Hilton Hawaiian Village 'Waikiki Beach Resort. This hotel has everything a complete city in its self and seems to be the perfect place to stay. One rides a boat that shuttles you to the submarine out in the ocean. Going down the ladder isn't too hard and I'm speaking as a handicap person. Once submerged the submarine passes by a sunken boat and a sunken airplane twice so or more so both sides of the vessel can see. I saw a shark and two swimming sea turtles and various tropical fish. Recommendation is to wear something RED!

1.00This is our second attempt to go on this adventure. Both times the tour was cancelled after we arrived due to long-existing weather conditions. Do not bother buying this unless you want to waste your time and lose your money. Do better!
