Atlantis Submarines Waikiki provides a breathtaking experience as guests see up close colorful marine life, vibrant artificial reefs created from sunken ships, airplane parts and other structures. It’s like scuba diving without getting wet!

What To Expect
Atlantis Submarines Waikiki
The Atlantis submarine Hawaii adventure begins with a short (approximately 10 minutes) shuttle ride out to the submarine boarding site. Descending below, your time underwater on the Oahu submarine tour is around 45 minutes. Returning to the world above, your shuttle is waiting to return you to land. The Oahu submarine tour dive site is home to many Hawaiian fish, coral and turtles. On this truly eye-opening experience, you'll visit sunken ships, airplanes and other artificial reefs. The submarine has a spacious air-conditioned interior, large view ports and comfortable seating. If you haven't taken a trip to the bottom of the ocean before, the Atlantis Submarine Oahu Adventure is a "must do" for the whole family during your visit to Hawaii. Check out the world's largest hi-tech 64-passenger submarine offers an enhanced amount of personal space and large viewports only available to Premium Tour passengers.

5.00Super easy process - check in at the kiosk, walk to the shuttle boat, then transfer from the boat to the submarine. We got to see both artificial and natural reefs with a lot of different tropical fish. The guide in the submarine was very knowledgeable. An extra plus was we saw two huge sea turtles! We didn’t even see those on our “turtle snorkeling tour”. It was a great short trip for the entire family.

5.00Freakin’ awesome. Very unique, very fun. We hit 136’ depth which as they said on board, only 1% of the population will ever do. There’s a shipwreck and some reef to explore, you’ll see plenty of cool fish, and the captain makes sure both sides on the sub see everything. There’s a two minute walk from the parking lot to the ferry that takes you to the sub. You literally walk onto the sub from the ferry and then it’s just 10 steps down (like a long stepladder) - very easy to board. Highly recommended.

3.00The over experience was meh. The staff was great and the submarine is cool and comfortable. The boat ride out to the submarine was very nice as well. The meh part was, we didn't see much. I know they can not control that but it was pretty underwhelming. I used my Galaxy fold 7 to take pictures and they didn't really come out. So if you have kids, I am sure the kids would really like it and it is a neat experience to be on a submarine, just don't have great expectations of what you are going to see.

5.00It was a beautiful morning, with some choppy waves. But the boat out to the submarine was handled well and the ride down 100 feet was pretty cool. We got to see lots of fish and some sea turtles. What an experience!

5.00Thank you very much for your understanding and help. Excellent tour operators on this submarine adventure. In my particular case, due to a small misunderstanding, I was unable to take the tour at the scheduled time. However, the staff was very kind and allowed me to take it at the next available time. Once inside, the experience is unique; seeing parts of sunken ships and even a small aircraft was incredible, and it is now home to various fish.
