Diamond Head State Monument
Hawaii's most recognized landmark. Diamond Head is a volcanic tuff cone on the Hawaiian island of Oʻahu and known to Hawaiians as Lēʻahi. The Hawaiian name is most likely derived from lae plus ʻahi because the shape of the ridgeline resembles the shape of a tuna's dorsal fin

Cruise the beautiful Waikiki coast look for Hawaiian Green Sea Turtles (Honu),Hawaiian Spinner Dolphins (Nai’a), Humpback Whales (Kohola) [in season] When the captain turns around at Diamond Head (Le’ahi), admire the darkening silhouette of the prominent crater — one of Hawaii's most renowned landmarks. The boat pauses here so you can bask in the sunset glow over the sea and look for the elusive ‘green flash’ on the horizon before returning alongside a glittering skyline to Waikiki

5.00My partner and I did the Waikīkī Signature Sunset Sail. Captain Chris and his 2 crew members were friendly, professional, and attentive. Nice catamaran with a covered seating area and bar. We ended up staying out on the water half an hour past our time since the sun hadn’t technically set yet. We also saw whales on our way back, and instead of rushing back to the pier they gave us a chance to whale watch. Nice little individual charcuterie boxes were provided along with great drinks. Plenty of space for everyone to sit either inside or outside. Several other sunset cruises we’ve been on have been overly crowded. 10/10 recommend this tour.

5.00There’s so many choices for sunset cruises out there and it can be overwhelming. I’d recommend stopping right here and booking this one with Hawaii Nautical! This company had by far the nicest boat on the water when we went out. Somehow our family of 7 ended up being the only ones on the boat when we booked, but the boat was capable of carrying 80 people. The crew of Chris, Phil, and Keoni were so professional, helpful, friendly the whole time. They took us right to where some whales were surfacing and they were very informative about marine wildlife. This all inclusive sunset cruise was probably the funnest thing we’ve done in Hawaii as a family and is something we will never forget. BOOK IT!
