This is the best wine tour in Christchurch/Canterbury. You will visit some of the best wineries in North Canterbury on the all-inclusive Waipara Wine Experience wine tour with Giles Tours. This tour includes tutored tastings at 3 boutique wineries and a delicious winery platter lunch. Departing Christchurch at 10.30am, you’ll taste a quality selection of wines in the up-and-coming Waipara wine region, including stops at Pegasus Bay, Torlesse Winery and Terrace Edge/Georges Road wineries. Learn from your knowledgeable guide about Waipara’s unique micro-climate as you taste a range of world class red and white wines. This is a shared tour but we only need a minimum of 2 people to run the tour with a maximum of 6 per tour. For private tours or a personal guided tour visit the operators website.

Booked same day and joined two folks from Toronto for a great 3 Winery Visit with Giles. It was a terrific experience and got to taste so much delicious wines between 10:30am and 5:30pm. So appreciated his dialogue and expertise on the area wines and how to ship most effectively back home

We had a great time, tasting more than 20 kinds of wines in 3 wineries, each of them different. The firs one - Pegasus winery has very beautiful garden. We would like to spend more time there

Giles is a great host, very informative and friendly. The conversation was great all day and you can tell he has great relationships with the wineries we visited. The family owned, boutique wineries were fabulous, with a great selection of tastings. Highly recommend!

Brilliant day out with the very knowledgeable Giles. Sampled many wines at 3 very different wineries, one of which opened especially for Giles so very special. Great platter lunch, awesome company with Yuen other 4 guests and learnt a lot from Giles. Would definitely book again. Thanks Giles for making my birthday particularly special.
