Enjoy an afternoon Wine Trail tour through North Canterbury’s Waipara Valley, visiting three boutique vineyards such as Waipara Springs, Torlesse, Pegasus Bay, or Georges Road. Each winery offers a fine selection of both white and red wines for you to taste. Over the course of the afternoon, you’ll sample at least 15 wines across a variety of grape styles.
Your experience also includes a delicious platter lunch, served at the first winery visited on the day.

Waipara Springs Winery
Travelling north from your pick up location from Christchurch, arrive at your first stop at the beautiful Waipara Springs: one of the oldest and most popular wineries of the region. Enjoy wine tastings and a delicious pattered lunch (if option is selected - you will be here longer).

5.00Very enjoyable and chillax experience! Jude is a friendly guide and the staff at the wineries are very generous and happy to share - also got offered some extra wine varieties to try. Pricing of the wines are very affordable wish I could buy more to bring home. Lunch at the first winery is good too exceeded my expectations.
5 stars doesn't do it justice best holiday trip ever!

5.00Writing this review in July 2025, over 12 months later we still talk about this trip and look back on it with such fondness. Our guide was fantastic a local man who was proud to tell us all about the history of the area. The vineyards were beautiful and the wines were excellent.

3.00Great experience but really do need something small offered at each winery to nibble on as just the one lunch with so much wine can be a bit much. Cheese and crackers won’t break the bank. Lovely experience 100% recommend.
