Enjoy an afternoon Wine Trail tour through North Canterbury’s Waipara Valley, visiting three boutique vineyards such as Waipara Springs, Torlesse, Pegasus Bay, or Georges Road. Each winery offers a fine selection of both white and red wines for you to taste. Over the course of the afternoon, you’ll sample at least 15 wines across a variety of grape styles.
Your experience also includes a delicious platter lunch, served at the first winery visited on the day.

Waipara Springs Winery
Travelling north from your pick up location from Christchurch, arrive at your first stop at the beautiful Waipara Springs: one of the oldest and most popular wineries of the region. Enjoy wine tastings and a delicious pattered lunch (if option is selected - you will be here longer).

5.00Had a lovely day with Jude. Enjoyed the food and wine at Waipara Springs Winery was brilliant. At George’s Road wines loved the wines and the wine maker talking us thru his selection was awesome. Also Pepper loved our pats 😉.

5.00The 3 wineries visited were quite different from each other but located close together so travel was much reduced, allowing much more time to taste at each winery. The offerings were good to excellent, with no “dogs.” The hosts and our driver/guide Samantha (a former grower) were excellent, knew their stuff and answered all our questions, so we learned a lot. Highly recommended.

4.00The driver, Alan, made the excursion fun. The lunch could have been better. The Georges Road Winery location is absolutely stunning. That view was worth the trip. Only six people on the tour which made it easy to chat with everyone. The van was clean and comfortable. The goal was to see the area and this tour was a great opportunity. The wine tastings were a side benefit.

5.00Amazing tour. Very nice of Jade to bring us to all wineries providing info along the way. Very friendly & charming lady. And the wineries were very nice with some amazing selection of NZ wines. They did well with explaining the notes in each wine & pro-active in answering any questions. The tour was well-paced & very comforting. Offered lot of interesting info on NZ wine-making.
