Shimla was the former summer capital of the British in India. On this day-tour explore Shimla's disorderly and lively urban scene and find out about Indian culture. Go past the major landmarks of this hill town and visit a Hindu temple. Then drive to the small town of Kufri in the neighborhood and visit the unique Himalayan wildlife zoo there.

Viceregal Lodge
You will be picked up from fixed point / hotel leave for sightseeing. The centre of Shimla is a vehicle free zone so you can walk around the streets in a relaxed manner. Start the tour with a cup of local chai (tea) at a nearby shop. Then visit the heritage building of the imposing Viceregal Lodge that was the home of the British Viceroys in India. The Lodge now houses the Indian Institute of Advanced Studies.
Green Valley
Go to Green Valley, one of the most picturesque locations of Shimla. The valley is surrounded by verdant hills in the backdrop of snow-capped mountains. You may even spot some yaks grazing in the valley.
