From the first step of your guided adventure, I will share fascinating stories about the history, culture, architecture, and personalities of San Antonio, including the back story of the Riverwalk, a hotel that was towed through the city streets, another that had the rooms lifted up and stacked on top of each other, and I'll share what happened during the siege and battle of the Alamo in 1836. There's the Tower of the Americas, San Fernando Cathedral, our Lovelock Bridge, the most haunted hotel in San Antonio, the quaint Arneson River Theater, and Marriage Island, where over 300 couples tie the knot annually. Take your photo on the famous Selina Bridge. Hear how Johnny Cash, Rudolph Valentino, Carol Burnett, Phil Collins, Babe Ruth, Davy Crockett, and Queen Elizabeth II are all connected to the city. I'll gladly answer your questions, leaving you with many memorable stories to share...PLUS...it's a great way to get in your "steps" Remember...every step forward is a step back in time !

Stewart’s walking tour was absolutely fantastic! He is highly engaging, funny and so knowledgeable about San Antonio and is continuously learning more to add to his tour. Stewart included rest stops and a coffee stop adding to the relaxed pace of the tour. He catered for various mobility levels of the group members. Stewart was able to effortlessly answer questions from the group in addition to the tour content. Stewart provided one of the best walking tours of a city that we have experienced around the world. The three hours is jam packed with information and amazing value for money. We would definitely recommend this tour to others and if we return to San Antonio would book in for one of Stewart’s other tours. Don’t miss the opportunity to learn about San Antonio with Stewart. You won’t regret it.

I highly recommend this tour! Most historical walking tours I've experienced in other cities last two hours, but this tour is three hours--and well worth every extra minute. Stewart knows his facts, has a great sense of humor and will remember your name. A great way to spend a morning all the way around.

Very informative and fun. Learned about the history with a little competitive twist! Stewart shared restaurants we did not have on our list, as well as additional tours he thought we would enjoy. He also suggested a couple of activities we didn’t even know existed. We made a point to add them to our itinerary and so happy we did. With Stewart’s suggestions, our trip was more memorable than it would have been without them. Put Stewart’s tour early in your visit so that you don’t miss some of the lesser known or more informative sites. You will definitely get more bang for your buck.

This was one of the best tours we have taken. Stewart has put a lot of time into designing this adventure. He is knowledgeable, friendly, helpful and willing to answer any question presented. We walked along the riverfront while he pointed out many interesting facts about the local history or architecture. We stopped along the tour at different points of interest such as the Buckhorn Saloon, The Alamo, Menger Hotel (Ghost stories) and we learned fun fats about buildings and their construction along the way. We would highly recommend this tour.

Our guide, Stewart, was fantastic. He was incredibly knowledgeable and complete in his coverage of the river walk and other local sites. The 3 hours flew by. We covered so much ground, historically as well as literally! Highly recommend.
