4.00I suppose it was ok especially since it was priced very reasonably. Our guide provided some info and facts on the way but having been on other similar walks in other places, I have to say that the tour was not something special. To be fair, the weather conditions were not the best on the day as it was rather windy and hence quite cold so I'll just give it the benefit of the doubt...

3.00We stayed with the tour for approximately 40 minutes but left as there was too many people in the group which made it difficult to hear the guide. Disappointed as trip description states maximum number of 20 people, I counted 36.

By chance, I took the tour twice, and guides Juan and Claudia each made their tour special and exciting. • Please note that this is the same tour that the Big Bus includes with their ticket price. (and yes, I was fine to take the tour twice, as the guides make it special, and there is so much to see and experience). • Please consider writing reviews and tipping to support these wonderful guides. • (I believe this tour is also available free through LUNA TOURS- with the purple umbrellas. 5.00Definitely recommend doing a free walking tour on your first morning. It’s a great way to have a quick overview of the main sights and get your bearings. Made us realise that most of Budapest is walkable. Our guide, Sau, was friendly and funny and gave us so many interesting facts about everywhere.

4.00Our guide Su was very friendly and knowledgeable. He gave us historical information and some funny little anecdotes too. We visited the main attractions and some less obvious statues along the route. This isn't a circular route so bear that in mind. Although the tour was very busy and we were in a large group of 30-40 his speaker/microphone meant we could all hear him. Be prepared to walk and stand for a couple of hours as it is a walking tour after all, some of the group seemed to hunt for seats everytime we stopped! A very enjoyable tour and you can pay what you feel is appropriate at the end. There is no need to book through any reservation company just turn up.
