I can highly recommend this tour of the Geiko districts. I had no idea that Kanazawa had such a rich history of Geiko (often called Geisha in other areas of Japan) - I can now understand why people call Kanazawa 'Little Kyoto'. It was so lovely to walk around the two districts and learn about their history, see the old-style buildings, and some architectural styles unique to the tea houses. A must do for anyone interested in Japanese culture!
