This tour was phenomenal, Charlie is so knowledgable about the island and the history. The kayaking was beautiful. I would highly recommend this trip, we went as a family and if in Sitka again, we will look up Charlie. Kayaking was easy and fun

Fantastic experience! Charlie was a great guide -- very knowledgeable about the area, the history, and the wildlife and full of fun stories from his own adventures in Alaska. I'm not a big history buff, but the hike on the otherwise empty island was worth it in itself. My favorite part was when Charlie picked some salmon berries right off the trail for us to try. So cool! Would totally do again.

What a memorable and neat experience! My nephew absolutely loved seeing the war bunkers even though we got soaked to the bone in the heavy rain. Richard took excellent care of my family and I. He even helped tow some of them in when they struggled. Charlie met us at the end of the trip with hot chocolate and warm, dry towels. They were absolutely great!

Our 9 year old son is a huge history buff, so this paddle and WW2 bunker exploration trip was what he was most looking forward to on our recent Alaska adventure. This excursion was all we could have hoped for- and more! From start to finish, Charlie was terrific to work with. He is incredibly knowledgable and professional yet down to earth and is the most engaging story teller!!! We truly enjoyed every minute of our time with SEAK and a grateful for the beautiful memories made in Sitka!

"SEAK Adventure" This was such a unique experience! We had so much fun. Charlie was such a great tour guide! I have never been kayaking before, but Charlie made it easy for me (I didn't even get my feet wet and he provided rain pants as well). Once we got to the bunkers (it was a bit of a hike, lots of rocks), he took us through them with provided headlamps. He told the history of the town very well, very knowledgeable. Overall, I would do this again.

Great information about and tour of the bunkers. Fun kayaking! Good instruction and supervision on the water. Added bonus having planes take off and land right overhead and watching Coast Guard helicopter land and take off too. :-)

Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable about the bunkers and why they were built. He provided us with waterproof pants and life vests before we left. The kayaking was about 30 minutes each way. This was fairly easy for 2 people in their 50's. The island was very easy to walk on but there was some bushwacking. Our guide helped out a lot. Altogether, it was a fun adventure.
