The castle rooms were nice and well decorated for Christmas and good signage. The castle walls walk should have much larger warning signage ... beware of heights and ALOT of steps plus it's one way so need to keep going once started! The Kingmaker displays a bit dated, dusty tableaux. Bird of Prey show crowded and poor viewing. Many of the other attractions are for families with young children.

Stayed one night at the hotel. Staff very nice and helpful. Castle etc very good. On site pub expensive, needed the heating turning up a bit plus for 1 Guinness zero and 1 bottle prosecco was £18.00, bit expensive that. Would definitely return, just use the pubs in Warwick. Breakfast good, could do with a proper coffee machine instead of filter coffee.

We stayed for a couple of nights at the onsite Castle Hotel and had 2 day tickets. The trip was amazing! The hotel was clean and staff very helpful but above and beyond were the experts, from the Warwick Warrior Knights giving sword lessons at the hotel and answering every question to the breadth of knowledge of the tour guides, in particular Ben, was astonishing. I learned so much! The Castle Dungeon was fun and the gift shops were reasonably priced. The Christmas decorations are beautiful. One of the best weekends away we’ve had, I wish I could give it 6 stars!

I took a bus to this castle. It’s a decent distance from London. The castle is pretty great. Old towers and a great hall. Walking the ramparts was the highlight. It’s tiring but super fun.

This is such a beautiful, well- maintained castle with lots of activities, shops, displays, and a good restaurant. Lots to explore, free to go at your own pace. It would be best to visit when the spacious grounds can also be enjoyed.

We stayed for one night at the hotel with 3 young children. We also had 2 days at the castle during Halloween. The hotel was fantastic, room was clean and a lot of thought put into the theme. The entrance hall with the horse the kids loved. The evening entertainment for the children was also really good with a lot of effort put on by the staff. We were going to eat at the restaurant but the buffet was quite pricey so ate next door in the pub which was much more reasonable. We have been to the Halloween event at Warwick castle a couple of times and did feel like not as much effort went into it this year. A couple of years ago they did a 'junior ghost hunt' in the castle which was great - lots of actors and riddles to solve from room to room. This year you just walked through the rooms on your own and half of them were empty of actors. The actors that were there didn't do or say much. The haunted hollows we felt was also better in previous years - again less actors this year and less effort with the decoration. We still really enjoyed our time there, you can't beat the bird display and it was good to see the trebuchet in action. We will probably give it a miss next year but hopefully when we come again they will have brought back the ghost hunt

Was a lovely visit on a sunny but cold Monday in November. Myself and my daughter are disabled and we both use mobility scooters. The access to the castle was fantastic, Andrew who helped with the lift was amazing. Very friendly even though he was freezing. Enjoyed seeing the rooms in the castle, the Christmas trees were stunning. Poor Andrew had to help again with the lift, again friendly and also made us laugh. Walked around the grounds which were beautiful. Would have given 5 stars but food & drink were expensive.

My Australian visitors wanted to visit Warwick Castle after seeing tourist information and on the advise of friends. We are all over 65 years and apart from the Castle interior and the Kingmaker exhibition there was nothing else for us to experience without paying extra. There are 2 Falconry displays but our arrival time and the time we spent at Warwick Castle (1.5 hours) meant that we missed both timings. Warwick Castle is wonderful for families or elders with grandchildren & I did not do enough research so" a too expensive day out" for us.

What a delight. Friendly, engaging staff who freely shared knowledge and made our visit a delightful experience. And such variegated activities: from the comedic archer, to trying in helmets, to the multimedia displays—just fantastic.
