Our first stop of the morning was on time and had seats available. We road for two stops and hopped off at the Jefferson Monument and walked to the FDR Monument, with plans to get back on after at stop #9. The next two busses were full and driver suggested we walk to next stop. The rest of the day was the same issue - busses full at every stop! If you use this tour, plan on not getting off and keep your seat and go around see all the monuments and plan your walk after.

Had three drivers and they were all informative and entertaining. Great experience on the trolley, like always. I buy tickets every time I come to DC. Convenient and inexpensive way to get around. I do wish you would run the trolley longer, past 4 pm.

We waited well over an hour for our Trolley at stop 14. We stood in the hot sun. There was nowhere to even sit down while we waited. During that time, three big bus tours came and went from the same location. Once the driver arrived, we went past stops 15 and back to one at Union Station where we were told the driver’s day was finished. We had to all get off and wait for another bus which was coming to get us. So we waited for the next trolley again losing more time from our plans to be able to see things in the city. I’ve never been so disgusted with a service like this ever.

We could not download live tracking so therefore very hard to know where the trolleys were, also we paid extra for Arlington cemetery however didn’t know it was a different trolley so therefore missed out on doing this Also at 15.05 a trolley went past our stop whilst we were in having lunch then another at 15.10 which we also missed then the next one not til 15.50 The drivers on the other hand were exceptional very professional and friendly

Driver skipped by us at 9 something. It was 10:30 by the time they had to circle back. This was our second day, to finish up on some sites, but was disappointing! We wanted to be out of DC early, but that was off the table after the mixup. We paid extra to come back today.
