There was a parade and they still charged me. I went to two stops where streets were closed and two uber . It was supposed to be my anniversary celebration and just horrible experience. I called customer service and so rude no help. 138 dollars lost 40 dollars in Uber. You should have notified people of parade and accommodate either another day or refund

We went mid-April, a couple weeks after cherry blossom season. We missed the crowds, so the buses weren’t crowded at all. We loved the narration by the drivers. They tell different stories. It was convenient to get on or off the buses. I wish we’d started earlier in the day, and I would do it again the next time we visit DC.

It was very efficient and timely. Wish directions would have been better about where to go getting off the bus. There was also construction, so not always easy to find the pickup spot because they weren’t always in the designated area.

The drivers were knowledgeable and upbeat. Buses were on time. The hop on and hop off experience was good.

At several test shops, it took much longer than 30 minutes to get another trolley. Some drivers were excellent, and you could understand them, while all the drivers were very hard to understand. What didn’t help with the fact that too many people were talking as the driver was giving the tour. The driver needs to explain at every stop that people should not be having conversations or be on the telephone.

We enjoyed the hop bus except my wife got sick and could not go with us and we were unable to cancel ticket.

This is the best way to take in all the sites of the city. Easy and convenient. Being able to hop off at any stop and then catch the next trolley was ideal. It was also a plus to have a guide that gives you all the information and history.

Got to see wonderful sights. The “narrator” of the tour on all trolleys and trams were fun and informative. Will do this again next year when I come back with a friend!

The trolley is a great way to see all the sites and then decide what you want to stop and go into. Our trolley driver, had great energy and knew her information. Even though we experienced a couple of delays that were unavoidable, she remained upbeat and kept us laughing. I can’t remember her name and I’m disappointed about that. Because I would highly recommend her as as well as the trolley..

This is a great way to get around DC and to see all of the primary sites. It was really hard to find the stops though, and a few times we saw the Trolley taking off, but couldn't find where to get on. We had 3 different tour guides, with varying degrees of humor and information.
