    Wonderful experience. Our guide was very generous, sharing his expedience of being a monk and also his indepth knowledge of Buddhism. The temples were amazing and it is worth the early start to be there for the sunrise and to get there before the crowds. I totally recommend anyone thinking of this trip to go.

    Non made this trip absolutely worth it. He's given us more information about the temple, temple life, cultural aspects and history than we got from the rest of our stay in the Chang Mai area combined. Aside from being very knowledgeable, he is also very kind and patient with questions. Absolute delight. The tour itself proceeds exactly as described. You won't regret going

    Very interesting to learn so much about the monks and Buddhist traditions especially from a former monk. If you are able to get up the almost 400 steps, it is well worth the effort but not something that everyone can do.

    What a wonderful experience! Though I had been to several temples by the time I took this tour, having a former monk give insights into the lives of monks brought new dimension to my understanding of the practice of Buddhism. The experiences at Doi Suthep were lovely, and the sunrise was stunning! I also really enjoyed the temples we visited on the “monks way” route. An incredibly memorable morning! Set your alarm—a very special experience awaits!
