Our guide James was really patient in explaining and had great knowledge about Buddhism! He spoke perfect English as well. Perfect experience!

As an ex-monk, the guide, James, was very knowledgeable about the 3 sites we covered. He was continuously willing to take the photos/videos for the tour participants. Getting up early may be a bit tough, but it was worthwhile, especially to avoid the crowds during daytime. Along with the sunrise and quick breakfast, this tour was suitable for making the most of your stay in Chiang Mai, especially if you travel under tight schedule.

Tu'a was a great guide. The experience was amazing, I highly recommend it. Being at the Wat at sunrise was beautiful, as well as experiencing the ceremony with the monks. Just beware that there are a lot of stairs to climb to the top of the Wat. I had injured my leg the previous day, so luckily they were able to allow me to use an elevator, but there still was a fair amount of walking and climbing involved.

An amazing ,once in your life experience, learning about Buddhism, visiting and finding out about different style temples, trying new food, seeing the sunrise.it all , made it hard to pick our favourite moment. Everything was made better by Tu, the tour guide, his joy of life, his wisdom and his passion for what he was doing made 5 hours of the tour go in a flash. We are very grateful to have had the opportunity to meet him .

Absolutely incredible experience. Our guide was so friendly and knowledgeable. He kept the group engaged throughout the experience by giving us information about the sites we were visiting and telling us about his own experiences of being a monk. Our guide helped us take part in rituals such as listening to the pre-dawn monk chants and offering alms to the monks. We also received a blessing from the monks which was beautiful, and we feel so lucky to have taken part in this. The food was nice enough but not the best meal we had in Chiang Mai. It was also lovely to see the temple dogs who were very well looked after and visibly well fed. It was definitely an early start, but so worth it as all three temples were quiet and serene in the early morning. We also had plenty of time for a second excursion in the afternoon.
