Unknown from the crowd of your boat, it is the best spot to snorkel and swim with turtles in their local environment, at only 30 minutes from Noumea with our water taxi. You will be able to enjoy by your own the magnificent white sand beach, historical trail around this island and beautiful, natural scenery brimming with marine, bird and animal life.
This tour is reserved for people under 70 years old and in good physical condition. It's a physical inflatable bumpy boat ride to go to the Island. You will snorkel by your own means. No guide, just personal instructions given by the skipper.

What To Expect
Water Taxi Schedule 8:00 AM → Return 11:00 AM 8:30 AM → Return 11:30 AM 9:30 AM → Return 1:30 PM 10:30 AM → Return 2:30 PM 11:30 AM → Return 3:30 PM 3:00 PM → Return 5:45 PM Tour Information Departure from the City Cruise Ship Terminal to Signal Island. This tour is for guests under 80 years old and in very good physical condition. The ride is on an inflatable speedboat and can be bumpy. Guests must be able to walk unassisted and have no lower back issues. On Signal Island, enjoy about 2.5 hours on the island (depending on departure time). Relax on white sand beaches and snorkel independently with turtles and colorful marine life along coral reefs. Snorkeling gear can be provided if needed. ⚠️ Turtle sightings are not guaranteed and depend on weather and snorkeling ability. Schedules may change based on availability and cruise ship docking times.

4.00the signal island zodiac trip and snorkel experience was as advertised. Lots of sea turtles that approached very close to us. The shallow reef is regenerating well allowing constant sightings of colorful fish. The fish also were unafraid. Scenery cannot be beat and rivals some in Hawaii. Awesome beach, but shade is lacking for the number of visitors. Walking the trails definitely allows you some great photo opportunities. It also gives you the full sense of an uninhabited island. Equipment for snorkeling was adequate. Fins were not necessary, but water shoes are a must. The sea was rough but the drivers were excellent. However, if it is rough and you have back or neck problems, choose another tour.

4.00Island is just beautiful, staff are friendly. Bring some snacks and lots of water on your tour as nothing is available. Getting on and off the boat is a little hectic as organisers got flustered and didn’t know who was going on what boat.

5.00We enjoyed our half-day trip to Signal Island when cruising to Noumea. The beach was lovely and the snorkeling excellent though we did not see turtles. Note there are shelters on both sides of the pier with picnic tables and basic restroom facilities but no vendors. A nice quiet visit.

4.00Absolutely nothing wrong with the trip everything exactly as described - Didn't think that much of the island but it was peaceful and relaxing - I enjoyed the lively rib boat ride there and back although that may have depended on which boat you were in we had the large blue rib which was great One small suggestion put a large sign on your tent with your companies name on !!

4.00The ride by water taxi was as expected.. It was very windy with high waves but Danielle got us safely to the island and back. It was a very nice trip. It is advantageous to bring your own snorkel. But there are also snorkeling provided, are just not the latest, but it works. For people who are unhinged it is a bit difficult to get in and out.

5.00Easy to find their tent and accommodated request to leave early. My only recommendation is to cut the 4 hours down to 3 hours as Signal Island has limited activities.

5.00It is a lovely place and there are turtles and beautiful fish and a lovely beach. There are no amenities, no bathroom or place to buy food or drinks. The ferries out to the island were fun but a lot rougher than I was expecting. The tour guide and the boat driver were great.
