We took an all-day tour with Michael Eugene and it was hands down the best day we had in Dominica! And this was our favorite all time vacation! This is such a beautiful place and it was great to have a guide to help us truly get to know it. Our tour, "Wet and Rugged Dominica" took us to waterfalls and hikes through the rainforest, where we were able to scramble over rocks, cross through mud bogs, and of course, jump into the water! A true adventure, even our teens were engaged throughout! A native Dominican, Michael knows a lot about the flora and fauna, but also the history and culture of the place. In between adventures, we had a delicious lunch at a house in a local village and finished the day with a refreshing swim in the Titou Gorge. Michael also gave us some helpful tips for the rest of our vacation (Le Petit Paradis was a great restaurant!). I cannot recommend strongly enough taking a tour with Michael (more info can be found at the Experiences Carribean website). Also, he does the driving, a bonus to make your day even less stress free!

Very cool! Not a lot of fish yet we did see a small octopus and several parrot fish along with the bubbles coming out of the sea floor. Our guide was extremely nice.

Michael was a fantastic driver and guide. Perfect English and very knowledgeable. There were eight of us in the van and we had no problems hearing his excellent commentary. The visits to Trafalgar falls and the volcanic vents were very interesting. Due to rough surf, snorkeling at Champagne Reef was not possible. Instead, Michael recommended swimming up Titou Gorge, where some scenes of Pirates of the Caribbean 2 were filmed. The water in the gorge was cold, but was not noticed when swimming (with life jackets) up the gorge to the waterfall. Michael came into the water with all of us and took pictures of us as well as pointing out safe places to put our feet in the shallow parts. The Titou Gorge and waterfall are spectacular and everyone agreed that they were the highlight of the tour.

4 of us had a private tour with Michael. We were told when booking it might be a larger group, but we were glad to be the only guests that day. He was very friendly and informative. He managed to avoid crowds so that we had the spectacular Falls and mud springs all to ourselves. We also had our own small dive group with the owner of the dive shop instead of one of the larger cruise boat groups of up to 25 people. The Champagne reef is not to be missed--the best snorkel experience I have had anywhere with warm water, a great variety of colorful fish and corals, and of course the bubbles! Do check in advance on the pickup instructions as the Tripadvisor message may not be fully up to date. We were not aware that there are 2 cruise docks about a mile apart and our boat ended up at the further dock but Michael did agree to pick us up at our boat.

Well organized. It couldn't have been simpler and the tour organizer was always quick to respond to questions. The Champagne Reef snorkeling was great - lots to see in the water and the waterfalls were beautiful.

Our family of 5 (all 19 and up) had a wonderful time. We located the staff easily at the meeting point right at the end of the cruise dock. There was a driver and a guide. The guide gave excellent info on Dominica and the driver arranged the trip so we weren’t competing with other tours for time at sights. Waterfalls were beautiful. Hot springs interesting to see. But snorkeling was the best part. Staff was outstanding. The reef was beautiful and the bubbles rising up with warm water in the cool bay was something you should see and feel. Saw lots of sea life too. The tour staff got us back on time. Felt like we had plenty of time at each place. There was local food and drink to purchase at a couple of stops. Driver was safe and friendly. No complaints. Would go again. Good for adults and children (who can swim and would enjoy snorkeling for an hour).

Michael was an excellent guide. From the start, he made us quite comfortable and throughout the tour, he shared his knowledge which allowed us to better understand this fascinating island of Dominica. Alan's tour through Champagne Reef was amazing as we enjoyed the spectacular view of the most beautiful underwater ecosystem.

The trip was great, Michael picked us up right at our Airbnb. He stopped a lot of times along the way for photo opportunity’s and to explain the history of the island. He was very kind and nice throughout the tour. Diving with Donny was also great fun and very informative also. There is no opportunity to get into any of the spa baths though

Our group had a few small kids, and the adventure was fantastic! We loved getting to know this beautiful island and having our new friend provide us with information that left our jaw dropping. We saw crabs, chickens, and a variety of animals. Entrance fare to the Trafalgar Falls was included, and we also went to a sulfur hot springs, then through the botanical garden on our way to the snorkeling experience. Because of rough water, we skipped the Champagne Reef and our guides took us to an alternate beach about ten minutes down the road, in the beautiful community of Soufriere. Can't speak highly enough about our wonderful adventure!
