Our guide was very informative throughout the long journey to the waterfall. We did the traditional Cava ceremony with the local people before being escorted to the waterfall by a lovely local young boy which was a great experience. However the trip was not fully as advertised as we did not visit a local village to witness their customs and way of life , the pre school or the local town for shopping, all of which was the main reason why we had chosen this particular trip which was advertised as including a variety of Fijian sights . I have emailed the company to address these concerns, but have not received a response.

Waterfall was great but bring water durable shoes. Tour was supposed to be 5 hours but lasted 8 hours due to long drive.

I saw an ad that said that the people of Fiji are born into happiness. That statement couldn't be more true. Our driver, Avi was excellent. While driving us to the village he gave us a nice history lesson of the people of Fiji and told us some great stories of his Indo-Fijian family including how they arrived here, what they do, and of their customs and traditions. The waterfall is a must do. It could be a bit tricky to get there, but the village guides will take care of you, and once you get to the falls, you'll see it was worth it.
