What To Expect
Vara Blanca
On this tour you will visit the amazing town of Vara Blanca, Alajuela, about 2 hours away from San Jose capital. We start our tour hiking along the green mountains on the way down to the canyon of the river and three differents waterfalls. *Important information we recommend to be in very good shape to do this hike., it has an intermediate and very technical walk with ropes in to the canyon*.

5.00What an amazing experience! This was the true day hiking adventure in Costa Rica I was searching for. Some challenges for me at times, but our guide Eric was there to assist the whole way. The countryside and canyon were so beautiful! And the waterfalls!!!! Bring your hiking poles and a bathing suit. Highly recommend.

5.00Visiting all the waterfalls was worth the hike. The hiking part is a little tough but the guide is helpful and patient. The tour guide was amazing. Showed us around and took us to extra places to visit since we had more time. Honestly I wish I could give this 6 stars.
